NOTE: My South American Suite for Harp and Orchestra was composed to be played on any type of harp. At the suggestion of orchestra conductors, I am keeping it for now as exclusively for my own performances, with my Paraguayan harp. Many players of several types of harps have requested permission to perform my Suite and I promise I will let them know when the score and parts become available, in a few more years.

NOTA: Mi Suite Sudamericana Para Arpa y Orquesta fué compuesta para ser ejecutada en cualquier tipo de arpa. Por sugerencia de los directores de orquesta, la mantengo como exclusiva por ahora, para ser yo el ejecutante, con mi arpa paraguaya, y establecer el estilo que deseo. Muchos colegas arpistas, ejecutantes de varios tipos de arpa, han solicitado permiso para ejecutarla y les prometo que les avisaré cuando la partitura esté disponible en unos años.

IMHO, this is one of the most beautiful pieces ever composed for harp and orchestra. I was lucky enough to be in Prague when Mr. Ortiz premiered this piece. It made the whole night magical. Alfredo is a fantastic SA harpist and truly a gentle man. His wife is also a darling and a talented jewelry designer.
