I know she's still around, and a lot of other brilliant artists are still around, but... this really makes me miss the 90s. So many smart, interesting artists being allowed a voice in the mainstream culture... I mean, this video was in HEAVY rotation on MTV, for like a year. If you listen to junk all the time you are not stimulating your brain, you need to balance it out with intelligent, well written, meaningful music. If you sometimes listen to classical or peaceful music that helps you relax, you need to also have music that makes you get up and go, rock or maybe hip hop for instance. Don't always listen to songs that make you cry, you need songs that make you happy too. Etc.
