Could you possibly give a little run down of your set up? I have been trying very hard to get Stevie's tone down and I probably lack the proper equipment to do so but I want to get as close as possible.
Just found your channel and must admit, I thought you were miming too. The recorded sound you have, mixed in with the backing track, does sound a bit like you recorded the part and then mimed your OWN playing for the video (especially as you don't look like you are even looking at the neck on some quite complex playing!). But of course this video proves you playing all this stuff, and extremely well too. Thanks!
Kelly, I think I know why you have these bozos doubting your playing. Firstly, you have such magic fingers that you make it look effortless! My best efforts don't come ANYWHERE close. Secondly, I think a few of your videos are a little out of sync with the audio making it appear that you're "miming" it. However, it's not all that hard to tell that you're playing the right notes so you'd almost have to do more work to FAKE it. Tell the haters to shove it! You rock, lady!

good job girl! seems like people here don't know how to use the rewind feature on their equipment at home... good lesson for players that have a grasp on the song but are looking to see what exactly he is doing on some of these runs. You're pretty damn close to what he plays from what I can see. I've been playing for 20 years and I learned something from this video. I've always just improvised my own licks. Thanks Kelly, this helped me out a lot. People can complain about no tabs all day, but honestly it's not that difficult. It's slowed down and you atleast have video reference. It is time consuming? Yeah, but it's worth developing your ear. If you can't take the time to put some work and effort in to it...your never going to get anywhere on guitar. Also, if you can't play by hear yet...odds are you shouldn't even attempt to play this song anyways. Maybe that's why is says in the title for interm

Thanks Kelly, this helped me out a lot. People can complain about no tabs all day, but honestly it's not that difficult. It's slowed down and you atleast have video reference. It is time consuming? Yeah, but it's worth developing your ear. If you can't take the time to put some work and effort in to it...your never going to get anywhere on guitar. Also, if you can't play by hear yet...odds are you shouldn't even attempt to play this song anyways. Maybe that's why is says in the title for interm

They didn't get a tutorial and spood fed the answer. So shut it, and go play your guitar and practice, cuz she did.

As for the tutorials though, making a good tutorial is a real skill in itself, and I don't think you've got it right here. Fantastic playing though, and I'd really enjoy seeing more covers and original material.

Not trying to hate cuz you're an amazing guitarist but as far as teaching goes try not to just be like "Here's the riff..." "Now here's it slow..." you need to actually break down so ppl can learn otherwise it kinda just looks like you're showing off. I mean do you honestly expect ppl to learn this difficult of a song by just looking at you playing each part?

@Rawskatevideos I learned this song note for note by just listening to the album and figuring out the notes without looking at nothing, just listening to the sound...like people has been doing it for decades...
You kids now-a-days are just used to have everything all too easy and ready to assemble, like "just-add-water-and-mix"...
You might be happier playing guitar-hero kiddo, the notes you should play pop-up on the screen and you'll need nearly no brain power to "master" on it...

Your REALLY good. You must practice alot! I wish I was half as good as you. Really glad to see someone as young as you do something more than watch tv all day or text! How much do you practice a day anyway? I usually do at least an hour a day.

Keep up what you're doing, and keep posting to Youtube. And, IGNORE the tasteless comments by those threatened by your skill and commitment.
