  • @OfLanceTheLonginus But it's been YEARS since 9/11 happened. I'm sure a lot of people can forget about it, and they can put this scene back in.

  • I Remember This !

    It Was Deleted .....

    BUT WHY ?!

  • What the hell does this have to do with 9/11?

  • @nuclearzeon

    Think about it

Back then, it was pretty much panic everywhere to remove crap that referenced/looked like something exploding, etc.

  • I faintly remember this scene.

    But still, it's really good!

  • Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

    SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!

Who hasn't been funny since 2003?

    SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS! :D

  • i knew i wasnt on crack...

  • RIP

    Spongebob Squarepants

    1999-2004

  • I remember seeing this on tv years ago

I knew it wasn't an illusion and yah this actually used to play on tv years ago but now we got the new crapy version

  • how is there gas and fire under water?

  • they also did a deleted scene on mooncation, the deleted the cow bumoing into sandy

  • ...I KNEW I WASN'T REMEMBERING FALSE THINGS

  • Possible explanations for this scene's deletion: Didn't want to encourage kids to play with fire or mimic the bucket prank, may have been deemed too violent for its audience, and/or it originally aired so close to the Sept 11th attacks that a room engulfed in flames like that would have been too inappropriate for airing.

  • lmao!

  • OMG i never know this episode O_Ov

  • Just goes to show.. Censorship sucks.

  • lol i was dis episode irl i was like O_O!!!!!!

  • I remember this ! And people thought I was full of it 

  • I like how they had dynamite in the one new episode, appearenty show a episode where it shows a lot of fire, like 20 episodes with explosions, but they CANT have THIS!?

  • I knew I wasn't crazy- I remember watching this. WHY WAS IT DELETED?

  • 1st Fire Explosion: North Tower Hit

2nd Fire Explosion: South Tower Hit

  • how did you get this? ITS SO AWESOME!

  • I knew I wasn't crazy I swore I'd seen this before

  • i remember seeing this

  • Little

  • First ever spongebob episode when I was

  • HAHAHAHA!!! the good old days..

  • I think I have this on a DVD.

  • The Good Old Days. The Days of Now Sucks!!!!

  • as if mr. krabs wasnt cheap enough to buy gasoline

  • The whole "Kids will try to imitate this" reason is stupid. I grew up with Looney Tunes (who didn't?) and I never tried to blow anyone up with dynamite.

  • i knew i didnt dream thi sup

  • That's not a deleted scene thats in the show!!!!!!!!!

  • @dijohn99 No it's not, since 2002 this scene has been removed from the episode.

  • I saw this... The world has changed greatly.

  • xD this mades me lol

Kinda odd because they had 2 deleted scenes, I can't quite remember but I think after that scene when squidward tries to get to the vault there were mines or something, then it shows him entering nd whatnot.. Either that or I'm thinking of somethin else :L

  • why the hell was that deleted? that was pretty damn funny!

  • @theredrussian100 It was deleted because of meddling, overprotective parents.

  • Its not deleted

  • Why can't people understand that sometimes scenes like this teaches kids to not put fire near gasoline instead of them discovering it on their own. Spongebob teaches alot you know

  • Ok this is the reason it was taken out at the time,

Since it aired pretty much a month after 9/11 they didn't want anything about attacks and whatnot. the second reason is because of the younger audiences might catch on to the gasoline thing and an accident could happen. so nickelodeon didn't want any of that.

  • @Twiceazcrazy nice analysis

  • @Twiceazcrazy thats also the same reason why invader zim's door to door was delayed. the first reason. there was a scene with NY in flames.

  • This was -deleted-?!

    Aww, this scene was hilarious!

  • I remember this!

  • Anyone else think the gas was pee?

  • i love that seen why would the dumb creaters take it of?

  • @hector070872 its not the creators bro its the channel and the fcc probably because they regualte what can be shown on tv...this was probably too violent for kids or something. i mean i watched tom & jerry as a kid and i know what bad and good...and i know not to do any of those things bcus its a CARTOON!

  • So if anyone... or anything, opened that unlocked flimsy glass door, the place lights itself on fire. That+the robotic arm are two big unusual wastes of money for someone like Krabs.

Better question than that: why wouldn't plankton just walk into the place himself?

  • holy crap...... i smelled the gasoline.....

  • I fail to see shy they would delete this scene. It was funny.

  • Why'd they delete it- 9/11?

It's kind of like how they deleted the Pokemon episode where Tentacruel destroys a building

  • damn :O

  • i seriously havent seen this episode on tv in forever

  • i remeber seeing this...only once...on the tv

  • lmao i got to see this than i always got disappointed when it stopped showin

  • Why did they delete this...?

  • So they dipict BLOOD in TWO episodes, but they won't show an explosion???

  • I remember this scene, because it actually was fun. and why did they delete it? its not like Squidward died...

  • I want that burglar alarm

  • this episode came out a month after 9/11. they took it out because they thought it was too violent

  • I missed this scene! Always wondered why they cut it out.

  • They cut this out but in a couple of episodes Squidward freaking BLOWS UP in a NUCLEAR explosion!!! Plus what about the obvious sexual references! This was funny though I'm only 12 so I never saw this on tv

  • @legendofmario64 wht sexual references?????

  • 0:47 DAT ASH

  • THAT'S violent?

Squidward's toenail being scraped out of his foot by a sofa. Now THAT'S violent!

  • Lol they cut this cause it was violent...I love this

  • XDDDDDDDDDD

  • i KNEW i saw this! It was on TV once when i was a kid. i thought i was dreamin though

  • They kept this scene on the re-runs I saw it on live tv about a month ago

  • i love how the "deleted scenes" of cartoons are actually showing on TV now :D oh well i guess they believe in 2012 cause i dont :P

  • did anyone think it was mr. krabs piss in the bucket at first?

  • Hahaha!!! Where did you get this??

  • why did they took this scene off. I saw this scene on tv when I was a kid then years later i saw this episode to remember the old days and the scene was gone.

  • I miss the old spongebob :(

  • @wesleytg7 When you were 5? you must be 12 then

  • The second one made me laugh my ass off! Haha!

  • This show defies the laws of physics.

  • @joeywomer That's why it's called a cartoon. ._.

  • did they take it out after showing it, cause ive seen this on tv

  • @TVsmasher66 I've tried looking for it too. No one has it :(

  • I thought I was crazy! :)

  • I was expecting "Squidward's Suicide."

    Good thing it wasn't.

  • lmao

  • I remember seeing this and the uncut version of the Krusty Krab training video from when I was a kid :'D

  • @SoraKH296 Wait, uncut version? Where could I find this "uncut version" you speak of?

  • Wow it's not on the DVD either

  • i totally remember this. no wonder this episode felt like it was missing something..

  • i believe it got scrapped cuz of the 9/11 attack (God bless there souls)

  • I saw this scene on tv when I was a kid, and I was so confused/bummed out when they cut it out for the VHS release. To me, it was the best part of the episode.

  • Technically, the event which we know of as "fire" CAN exist underwater, but it isn't very common here on Earth.

    It goes like this:

When something that is unstable (whether it requires heat or not to BE unstable isn't the point, by the way) touches something that will chemically bind to it (USUALLY air), it burns, and the created smoke is the two things combined. That being said, *some* things bind to water.

They should have tried sodium instead. ;D

  • i feel like a boss for being one of those kids that actually got to see this on tv :D LOL

  • @xAirsoft7teenXx Same here!

  • @xAirsoft7teenXx hahahah exactly i remember this i love this show

  • why did this get deleted?

  • @sk8ternerd1100 because it's too violent for a kids show

  • oh i guess im not crazy lol they did make this scene!

  • i actually saw this

  • its not deleted

  • I noticed that a deleted scene of The Bully is also shown. That's where SpongeBob and Patrick play leapfrog while Flatts the Flfounder still kicks SpongeBob's butt. Does anyone have that where it starts with SpongeBob at the Krusty Krab and ends with him at Boating School?

  • squidward sholda got fire insurance. and i think the reason this stopped showing was because the network censors, executives and the parent groups were complaining that it was to violent for a kid's cartoon

  • 0:09 the best scene ever why is it gone!!!!!!!!!!

  • i laughing my fucking ass out lol

  • I actually remember this part!

  • This is when the creators of Spongebob were actually humerous..

  • @erni5cp And when they didn't overdo squidward's arrogant.. uh.. ness

  • @erni5cp or before you grew out of the show

  • @erni5cp the creators are funny, there are new people now because all of the original people left after the movie

  • thumbs up for the old NICK logo

  • I don't understand why they took this scene out. It's been well-near 10 years since I saw the original, un-edited version of this entire episode.

  • i remember this! i remember there were times when it would/wouldn't show. and every time i watched it i guessed whether it would or not lol

  • Ohh this all makes sense now. I remember this scene from when I first saw the episode. But later in reruns it always skipped right to the very end.

  • if you in any way relate this to 9/11 then you are a fucking idiot. amerifags need to stop getting butthurt over one thing that happened to them seeing as they create situations like this every day across the world. to quote rapper lowkey "America inflicted a million ground zeroes"

  • @MStycki lol u mad

  • I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't question the logic nor physics of a cartoon, but WHY IS THERE FIRE UNDERWATER?

  • @iScorpio1031 How come there's water underwater :P? Take Goo Lagoon for example XD

  • @HotaruWaffle101 I thought that Goo Lagoon was filled with some type of tar or something.

  • @iScorpio1031 Eww XD Only in some episodes they take into the fact of reality, that they live underwater. When they were trying to tell Sandy that fish are cooler while Sandy was saying mammals are cooler, she dared Spongebob to go above the surface. Mr Krabs offered him a glass of water before he left, Spongebob said thank you, tipped the glass upside down above his mouth and made glugging noises XD

  • @HotaruWaffle101 yea i used to wig out that they didn't really imply that they were underwater. But now i understand because its really meant to relate to everyday people.

  • @MrSupernova220 Lol yeah XD

  • Where did that little robot arm come from?

  • Yes when I was a kid and saw this scene, it made me into a violent killer at my age right now. Thanks "Big Brother".

  • I remember seeing this episode.

  • that explains why parts were missing when i watched this

  • funny

  • Lol

  • i remember seeing this before

  • i wish they still showed this scene still i love this scene

  • Best. Burglar Defense. Ever.

  • 17 got burned by a bucket of luquid gas and force Nick to deleted scene this.

  • they deleted it because its violent but there are tons of scenes where people just fucking explode for no reason?!? and if they deleted this caus of 9/11 why are there so many parts where buildings burn or collapse or what for fuck sake ever i mean the krab krusty got destroyed at least 15 times and as far as i know none of them scenes was ever deleted

  • wow.. I wish i could find hidden deleted scenes!

  • @MrSintendo Hey,nowadays we have DVDs.

  • i loved this back in the good old days and when i saw it after im like ...wait isnt there a lack of burning of something?

  • I remeber these parts! Deleted scenes FTW!

  • thats not a deleted scene thats the actual scene in the episode

  • @ourhouse88 read the description

  • @ourhouse88 ... that has been deleted a while after it aired.

  • Remember kids, never put buckets of gasoline on top of doors, and then light them on fire, ESCPECIALLY when they're underwater.

  • @ShiningStardust1 BUT SPONGEBOB DID IT! THAT MEANS ITS SAFE TO DO IT IN OUR OWN HOMES!!!!

  • I wouldn't call this violent, some cartoons they air is VIOLENTS, and it's stupid how this got deleted after 9/11, beavis and butthead scenes got deleted because, of fires, or stupid things they did and people did them, mostly little children, which got it taken off of TV for good, but, now, it's coming back after, this month, people need to take a chill pill because, it's just a cartoon, games are worst than this type of stuff now and days.. /-:

  • Theres another deleted scene in the episode Procrastination.

  • I just saw this episode and it was removed.

  • Holy cow. >.<

  • Funniest thing in spongebob, funny enough to be in family guy

  • I remember when this was on T.V. THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT IT IN!!!!!!!!

  • they siply didn't want kids to know how fun FIRE!!! is.

  • They deleted this because some idiot tried it to see if it would really work

  • Why would they deleted this and not that whole episode when they got stuck on The Flying Dutchman's ship? Squidward got hurt more than in this scene

  • @MistahRandom1 The new spongebob are more violent

  • I remember that scene i wonder why they cut it out?

  • Where do I find the one for Rock Bottom?

  • It's amazing what one can forget. Thanks for bringing down from memory lane bro.

  • mr krabs investing

  • they eventually aired this, but for the first few months, this episode was aired right after 9/11, (burning a building in a cartoon a few weeks after the attack is prooobably not smart)

  • @DeanSceProductions it was never aired

  • @DeanSceProductions lol that part still shown here in Canada

  • @DeanSceProductions hey its to lighten the mood maybe

  • This never got deleted. maybe in other places around the world, but not in North America.

  • this is actually wicked funny. as in family guy funny.

  • why was it deleted???

  • a friend told me that this was done after September 11th

  • I remember this! I always wondered why I had memories of the gas bucket whenever I saw this. XD

  • Respond to this video... for real lol

  • Why do I remember this but got deleted?

  • they think this is violent in a episode patrick takes off his skin and u can see his organs and stuff

  • It stop because the writers where considering it to be related to the September 11, 2001 attacks.

  • Comment removed

  • Hm, never seen this deleted scene before.

  • @HATER47 ya me 2

  • lmao

  • @pikachukako1 I feel you on that in not that the cartoons are bad it just some kids are stupid search up (boy dies copying naruto) the kid is ten years old and he let his friends bury him to his neck in sand. Then they covered his head and they're excuse is they didn't think he need air. they're 10 year old they should know this. Cartoons don't kill kids stupidity does!

  • i remember this whenever i would watch this episode i knew something was missing

  • why was this scene deleted anyway???

  • @abster50 Probably so kids don't do this in real life

  • @avengingchemicals kids were doing this in real life on their own. The alternate version of Jingle bells that Im sure everyone has sung in their lives. and I knew quite a few kids that played with fire all the time. not because of television, more because their parents never told them it was bad.

  • i saw a robot arm at 0:37

  • lmao, i had always wondered what had happened to this...

  • oh shit i remember this!!! i laughed so hard! i swear i've seen this so many more times but haven't noticed that this is gone! and it is!

  • Squidward's face when he gets caught by Spongebob still creeps me out.
