That depends on your definition of "hard". Like anything Anim8or has a learning curve, and it won't give you what you want until you have learned how to use it (obviously), but in my opinion it is far easier to learn than, say, Carrara or 3DS Max, predominantly because it cannot do anywhere near as much. It is a very good introduction to the concepts involved in 3D modelling and animating.
WOW! The design of the spider spy is fantastic! The scene with it unfolding is very well executed. Also, the Dulcimer [?] melody fits in excellently with the action. However, what I appreciate the most is the reflections of the laser in the bottles. Ironic how that works, huh. The only thing I can think of that could be done to allow my head to asplode would be the spider making indentations or tracks in the sand. Easier said than done, huh? [FIRST]
Thanks for the comment Skyfinity. Because this was for a contest submission, with a 1 month time limit, and as this is the first thing I have tried to make with Carrara so much of the time was spent learning the software, I had to make some compromises. One such compromise was the indendations that should have been left by the feet. Difficult to do indeed, but not impossible!
Very Awesome dude!!!
