Read what Wikipedia says: The phrase "No Taxation Without Representation!" was coined by Reverend Jonathan Mayhew in a sermon in Boston in 1750.[citation needed][1] By 1765 the term "no taxation without representation" was in use in Boston, but no one is sure who first used it. Boston politician James Otis was most famously associated with the phrase, "taxation without representation is tyranny."[2] An ex-felon can be taxed but doesn't get representation? What? I voted anyway.
let me ask this.why should i vote for these ppl when society has labeled me for a mistake i made 12yrs ago?but yet im limited to jobs i can get.if i wasent living in the state i am now,it would be impossible to rent a home for my family (trust me i know).and there are ALOT of things i can no longer due because of a crim i did 12 yrs ago that labeled me an voilent felon.if i can aleast have somewhat of my life back after all this time,to hell with voting to make it better for them.
