  • This is so good!!!! I think that the opening solo is just outstanding! Keep it up Center Grove!!

  • To do a mostly acapella ballad without a director in front of them was truly musical. Without staring at a director, they were able to really get the message of the song across yet still sing it absolutely beautifully.

  • @farxfromxreality A lot of showchoirs actually do ballads without directors. The a lot of Midwestern states do that.

  • @DARKmirror70 Definitely! I'm from a Midwestern choir and had never seen a group use a director during their ballad until I started to see California groups. But most midwestern choirs don't do their ballads mostly acapella so they have some music to follow. Both ways have their immense difficulties, but I know I was really impressed when I saw this and realized there was nearly no music behind them. Very impressive to stay so musical, together, and in key.

  • @farxfromxreality I still wish there was a baritone singing the solo; it would of really recreated the tone of the Phantom !

  • why would you have a female sing this solo?

    it was ok

  • BEST BALLAD OF ALL TIME:)

  • My day instantly just got better. I wish that the show choir bashers of America would watch this and listen to the beauty of this sound. Simply amazing.
