What sheet music did you use? I have Mel Leven's version, but the left hand is nothing like what you are playing. If you could, could you tell me the chords you play in the song? I like this version way better :)
@hotpebbles92 thank you, i'm glad you like my version. the left hand style i play on this song (in an attempt to sound like dr. john) is a simple shuffle: you just play the root and the fifth and then the root and the sixth alternately for two eighths each, but don't play it straight: always put an accent on the first of the two eighths and make it a little longer than the second one. it's much easier to play than to explain.
@hotpebbles92 in the video i changed the key at the end from Bb to C. i played the shuffle pattern in G for one measure to make a smooth transiton to the following C. and then just repeated the second chorus again, but this time transposed upwards a whole step: C | F | C | F | C Ab | Bb A | D G | C |
It's a pity that the mic in your camera doesn't record the bass notes well. You could try to use another mic and record the video and the audio separately. It's a little more laborious, but it will be worth it!
@blendingmelodies thank you. you're right about the camera, i hope it will record better, if i play a little lower, otherwise i will have to record the sound separately, like you said.
Wonderful !

@hotpebbles92 the chords are:
first chorus: Bb | Eb | Bb | Eb | Bb Gb | Ab G | C | F |
the second chorus is the same except for the last two measures: C F | Bb
verse: D | Gm | D | Gm | C | C | Gb | Cm7 F9 | (the two chords of the last measure are just held, not played in the shuffle style)
then the second chorus repeats and you could end the song after that.
