It`s dangerous how important Bøkko is for Norwegian skating. Behind Bøkko, there is zip for the moment. He`s the only one that`s really something.

There are enough Norwegian juniors that are promising talents. Sverre Lunde Pedersen for example, within a few years he will be beating Kramer.

He is miles above the rest, and I like to see him skate but it does get boring knowing who is going to win. XD That is why it was such a shame that Fabris got disq. and Håvard made that mistake. If he hadn't failed and lost his motivation for the rest of the weekend, I think the outcome would've been quite different. Or so I'd like to think. ;)

Agree. But you did see Bøkko in Hamar? Håvard was 2nd on 500m, 5000m, and 10000m and won 1500m in pair with Sven Kramer. Kramer is still superior on the 5000m and 10000m, but vulnerable on the 500m and 1500m. Bøkko is coming closer and closer.

One thing I like, is that they are pals when they`re not competing. Just look from 2:30. A few years ago, the two best skaters in the world were Davis and Hedrick, and they were anything but friends.

But it`s a good thing that they`re not so fierce rivals that they use psychological methods to break each other down when they`re no longer on the ice.
