  • yeah well when cnn, msnbc, and cbs, abc, and nbc all decide to stop being left-wing then maybe I'll get mad at fox for being right-wing.

  • this isn't a news station, this is pure entertainment wich will destroy the world..

i hope no-one who looks this is thinking they are watching the 'news'. news is independent, and they should talk about facts in a objective way. did you ever see the movie idiocracy?

  • But "energy" and other items on that list are all related to global climate change. So, it may be #20, but it will be in tandem with other items on the list.

  • Chris Horner is an idiot

    Husseins a fake

  • Popularity equates to urgency?

Someone selling a book equates to an unbiased expert?

Looking out the window means it is cooling?

    Rebranding!?

    Blaming california for the recession.

A complete corporate shill devoid of anything but the most plastic of morals is calling for honour?

    This show is disgusting.

  • I wont comment for or against on the rest of your list, but global temperatures have done nothing but possibly cool this decade, feel free to consult the data.

  • Actually you are mostly right. There has been no significant change in global temperatures for the last 10 years when averaged out. However you should know that we are in a cooling phase of the solar cycle, the PDO and ENSO. Global avg temps should have dipped significantly over the warming signal from AGW - but we stayed flat.

  • Consulting infrared satellite data (more accurate from fewer systematic errors) in place of surface observation stations shows there has been no significant warming over the past 30 years.

Actually the PDO was in a brief warming phase 2002-2006, although it is cooling now.

If global temps should have cooled by noticeable levels this past decade, then why did the IPCC's central estimates (in 2007, if not 2001) not show any projected cooling at all?

  • Shit!!!! I live in California!

  • Alternatives to fossil fuels have been around since at least the beginning of written history. The reason we don't use them is that they are considerably more expensive. We could easily stop using fossil fuels if everybody but the elites didn't mind living in worse conditions than many third world countries. Someday alternative energies may be viable but scientific advances can't be legislated and trying to do so will lower everyone's quality of life (except perhaps the rich and influential).

  • You don't GET IT Dummy: ALL FUELS ARE UNSUSTAINABLE & UNBEARABLE BURDENS ON HUMANITY (& all other species). The ENERGY IMPACTING YOUR TRANSPORT & HOME HAS been hitting for all history YES! But the science needed to TRANSLATE IT INTO propulsion didn't always exist (take ships!) NOW IT DOES!!! THAT is what you don't know - or in denial of! (My bet is ENDLESS DENIAL-OIL SHILL FOREVER FOR A BUCK?) Ever hear of nano-solar? Even hear of neo-magnets? DO A LITTLE RESEARCH, before shooting off mouth!

  • They claim there's a CO2 problem; you're worried about running out of fuel; global warming is the answer. Think of all the fuel we'd save if it didn't snow; think of all the CO2 produced by all the snowplows and snowblowers clearing all the parking lots sidewalks, every mile of city streets and alleys, rural roads and highways and interstates every time it snows. Think of all the CO2 produced by shippping sand & salt & having to spread it over those same miles. Now think of all the CO2 produced

  • when we have to heat our homes, businesses and factories up to approx 68 degrees from -40below. It takes less energy to cool down to 78-80 from 90-100 than it does to raise the temp by up to 120 degrees to 68. The answer to the fuel and CO2 problem is global warming:)

  • You must be joking! NO FUEL is the solution - not because we're running out either. >Global Warming" was a '90's theory based on oceans no longer acting as acid buffers. You will get MORE COLD with more fuel burning: read up on recent CLIMATE CHANGE DATA! Chem-trails are over all major cities now - affecting human behavior down below. This was secretly introduced. You Fuelists never face reality, do you? The planet can't take a billion Fuel-Burners everyday, open your eyes, no scientists needed

  • Lol, you're funny PhotonDrive. So, in your psychotic and disjointed opinion, what do you think would make everything alright?

  • You're the first irate environmentalist I've seen on here who thinks emissions lead to an overall cooling (I assume from particulates/sulfates, etc.) I'm not disagreeing with you, but would you agree with me then therefore that "global warming" is the wrong incentive for action?

Also, any thoughts on the impatient way of life being a problem? i.e. if people stopped speeding off to red lights and actually got the EPA estimate of gas mileage think how much less we'd consume.

  • Bayou: Emissions add cloud, which warms water, which increases Hurricanes, Volcanoes, Changes main circ. current, spreads deserts, kills species. Cutting Emissions was Carter-era, Electrics (now in Stimulous) is Clinton-era. Now Fuel Free has been invented: NO FUEL/ NO PLUG-INS! Get it? But MOVED to EU & Asia to build! US left in mental darkness by oil propaganda machine. Detroit is DEAD as tech - but they COERCE WORKERS for votes & war-machine fodder! THEY ARE SCARED OF CHANGE: defines REACTION

  • Um yo PhotonDrive,

Emissions do not add any discernible amount of clouds, do not warm water on any level that will increase the frequency or intensity of hurricanes. Volcanoes?? um no the atmosphere does not effect them at all. The main circulation of the oceans has in no way been effected by man emissions, and certainly will not to the degree to kill species. What is the current cost effectiveness of "Fuel Free"?

  • About 10 to one: Gas 40thou/FuelFree 4thou. Your unsupported assertions, call into question my own assertions: 500 words or less is not the best place to come to conclusions on these matters - many not as clear as we would like anyway! Note that Commentators like the above vid. do it on even LESS all the time! Not to mention Tele-Evangelists - the very worst in my and others estimation! LoL.

  • Well good point about the response limit I do agree there. But how much would it cost to see a widespread implementation in this technology, I guess that was my main point with new energies. If the 10:1 is true, then we should certainly push for it in the U.S. However all your claims about the atmosphere are speculation and have no evidence as happening on a global scale.

  • Good Question Green! Today, Carlos Ghosn CEO Nisson-Renault laid out new strategic plans, involving intro of first "Fuel-Free" mass-produced car. It may involve "stimulous" credits & 20 yearold plus plant in Tennessee. THe piecemeal development of small compacts over last 30 years will certainly make Fue-Less change-over quicker & cheaper! Nisson's breakthrough of always-on wheel chargers last year is big factor - all Fuel-Less were 3-wheel types until now 4-wheel is efficient enough.

  • PhotonDrive, Well if all of that is true, then it would behoove Western nations like the U.S. to invest into this technology.

    But once again ...

"Emissions add cloud, which warms water, which increases Hurricanes, Volcanoes, Changes main circ. current, spreads deserts, kills species."

I cannot agree with because the data simply does not show this.

  • GR: They are! see Nisson in Tennesee plant! More important Murdock just fired CEO, so Horner, Hannity, O'Rielly, & other Faux Cheney-Bush oil-shills will soon go too! Screw your "Data"! City hot-spots have been chem-dumped for years! Look out window- that dust you see rising at rush-hour IS "CLOUDS"! Only FOOLS believe in WORDS, & do not CHECK WITH SENSE DATA REALITY!

  • So to clarify, what "Data"!/DATA are you referring to. Combustion engines produce both CO2 and H2O, which will be locally higher in urban areas. But a lot of visible pollution is actually from fertilization in agriculture where condensation occurs far before RH reaches 100%. There is no evidence, and scale analyses agree, to say human emissions have warmed the ocean temps, changed circ. current or hurricanes. How do humans influence volcanoes?

  • Cern mid-earth ray bombardment. H-bombs under arctic ice in oil exploration for two of several examples.
