The reason women are underrepresented in any occupation where they are is women's choice and nothing else. With affirmative action and everything in their favor, they still fail to choose to study for these occupations even when they would have an obvious free ride in getting in.
Many studies have shown that stereotyping keeps women out of certain jobs they may be fit for and men in certain jobs they may not be fit with. All of society suffers for your sexist attitudies. I think I finally understand you a bit more, I think I've been waiting for this kind of explanation forever. Ok, that makes sense, you want to see some action. The fact that it's all talk and no action is probably because many people wants to see things happen, but initiating change is always slow and hard, and if you're not affected by it, you don't have the drive and motivation to make the change, you always wants someone else to start it.
People have so much stuff going on in their lives it's hard. We all want to cure cancer, but mainly only the people that's affected by it do fundraisers or donate. I don't ever join in any lobbying for women's rights, even though I strongly believe in it, because it hasn't really affected me personally.

I think there's a considerable increase in the awareness of the bullshit...at least in my stretch of Canada. Lots more women are VERY quick to distance themselves from feminism...hell, I even have several female friends that invite me over, just so I'll "fry" a feminist friend of hers in a debate (she's a Psych major).

I think there's a tipping point we're rapidly approaching. If women don't start doing something for their men, men will resent the hell out of it en masse (sort of like the misandry so dominant in feminism). I people, ESPECIALLY women, don't speak up, men in general will realize that no one cares about them (in general), and that's lead to the socioeconomic breakdown we are seeing right now.
The gov'ts of the west were all stretched so thin paying for the social programs necessitated out of PC adhesion to feminist doctrine they had nothing left to stimulate the economy, and there fore have to borrow AND print money to pay for "stimulus" packages. Funny thing is, the vast majority of women I've talked to about boys education are at worst indifferent, but in the main actually SUPPORT the idea of boys falling way behind girls...as a sort of "comeuppance".
And yet these same people insist they're all about equality of the sexes, and they "like men".
Misandry is so prevalent, most women don't even realize how sexist they are. And damn near NONE of them give 2 shits about men...in word OR deed.
A lot of women are in a sort of competition with men that I think most men aren't even aware of. If men beat women at something most men don't care, and if things are exactly level most see it as normal but if women head men in something a lot of women are intensely happy. But yeah to be happy because one sex is struggling when it's kid's education is bizarre. I think it actually shows they have a major inferiority complex at heart that they have to get satisfaction out of boys struggling.
When I was at school in the 80s boys and girls went on to higher education in almost 50-50 numbers. And the teachers were about 50 male 50 female too. Today it's about 80-20 female to male teachers, that's a staggering change in just one generation. Also the feminists "fragile girl" stuff started around 1990 as part of the "discovery" that boys held girls back. Boys were then dealt with (crushed) and girls encouraged and surprise surprise the equal achievements turned to huge imbalance.
Which is not a very bright long term strategy considering a woman's defintion of a 'good' man is someone who earns more than the woman. If there are a limited number of professional men, women really are going to have a difficult time find adequate marriage material. Not to mention some dolt they can milk a good living off of once they rape him in family court.
Which means more sex in the city type television shows for miserable women to commiserate their bleak relationships prospects.
Beautifully over-simplified, in the sense that most of the inequalities men face predate modern feminism . Some feminist projects have had negative effects on men - but, will still be worth it when the resultant benefits are opened up to, and fully accessed, by men also, eventually. Men's rights trickle down from women's, and are implemented by stealth, so don't expect too many announcements by POLITICIANS, on the subject of men's rights, unless you as an articulate MRA, become one yourself.
Oh I agree...until men start standing up and asking politicians "What are you doing for ME?" we will get precisely nowhere.
The reason why Feminists insist at all times that men (especially us white ones) are "Priveleged" is PURELY to distract from their own massive priveleges, and at the same time preclude men from being able to point out issues...we're "priveleged whiners" then.
My own past is WAY too checkered to be in politics, but it sure would be nice to have some power to change stuff.
Depends upon what you mean by doing something about it. The men simply don't have groups with the lobby power to combat the Feminists on the ground.
When it comes to preaching the right stuff, I wouldn't hold your breath. As long as the magical laboritories of the left continue to bake these statistical fantasies, those are the ones that the bulk of the feminists will adhere to. They'll favour the ones that serve their cause.
It's going to take politically incorrect men to fix it.
Feminists acknowledge everything you mentioned, they have lengthy discussions about how to fix the problem. The problem is they all arrive at the same conclusion: Men are worthless, can't be fixed, or they are not suited for the modern world.
Asking a feminist to give up the privileges she enjoys (at the expense of men) is akin to asking a slave owner to free his slaves.
Why should they give anything to us? They are nobility and we're their surfs. We work for their benefit. Nothing more.

This video has confirmed for me that these modern (radical) feminists have actually been focusing on petty issues such as "gender-biased terms" and "social construct of gender" rather than focusing on legit and real issues that are holding us men back. Now for my opinion on men and the reproductive rights.Men in my area do have a say in that.I know 5 couples where the man convinced the woman not to abort and they didn't.4 out of the five the woman is raising the child on her own and the male skipped out on them and feel they shouldn't have to pay for the child they didn't want aborted.Their faces are in the post office "Wanted for child support"

your % of women and men in education & medical field is slightly off a few %.In my general area we have more men in education and the medical field.I know cuz every-time I went to see a doctor,rather it's at an office or hospital it's always been a male.Yeah I do see some women in the medical field and education but their applying for nursing positions. Problem being, since there is now an era of entitlement, that since these problems exist... because these issues must be addressed, otherwise women suffer (yay perpetual victimhood) it will fall to men again to pull up their sleeves and do it all ourselves.

I don't ever join in any lobbying for women's rights, even though I strongly believe in it, because it hasn't really affected me personally.

The funny thing is, now, is a number of radical or certainly vocal feminists, essentially disavow Hoff-Summers for daring to suggest their data is skewed and/or there's a crazy imbalance which will cause backlash.

Moe to the point, they act as a sort of smokescreen defense for the radicals. They confuse issues and preach solidarity (quietly and personally only, mind you) with many of our issues....
But the do pretty much nothing. There's a couple high profile women like Hoff Sommers who are critical of feminism and address the issues. But by and large, they do nothing....
While their "sisters" are busy behind the smoke....

I think there's a considerable increase in the awareness of the bullshit...at least in my stretch of Canada. Lots more women are VERY quick to distance themselves from feminism...hell, I even have several female friends that invite me over, just so I'll "fry" a feminist friend of hers in a debate (she's a Psych major).
Women are becoming aware of their diminished worth..question is...will they wake up in time?

I think there's a tipping point we're rapidly approaching. If women don't start doing something for their men, men will resent the hell out of it en masse (sort of like the misandry so dominant in feminism). I people, ESPECIALLY women, don't speak up, men in general will realize that no one cares about them (in general), and that's lead to the socioeconomic breakdown we are seeing right now.

The gov'ts of the west were all stretched so thin paying for the social programs necessitated out of PC adhesion to feminist doctrine they had nothing left to stimulate the economy, and there fore have to borrow AND print money to pay for "stimulus" packages. And the Feminist destruction continues with the "victory for women" of diverting much of that money to female dominated jobs...even though those sectors are GROWING.

Relationships are crumbling, people's sense of connection to community is dwindling with all the fear mongering going on, not to mention the difficulty in establishing those relationships in the first place...
Boys are being failed miserably in education at all levels, with palpable anti male bias on nearly every campus.
And the whole damn scheme is feeding women's entitlement...and men bloody well know it too.
...And I have daughters, and I want them to be happy and fulfilled.

Just to add something VERY essential, males are STILL being robbed on the most important and beautiful thing in life, life itself.
Females are STILL living 5-7 years longer than males.
And even if some feminists started to actually care about male issues, (they will never do) it would STILL take a fucking long time before i would even support anything that had anything to do with this crazy ideology.
But i agree, for now, i am pleased to just say, FUCK OFF to all feminists!

On an even playing field I love women's essential nature but they have an innate sense of entitlement to the resources of both men and society. I am sorry to say this but I think they might be blinded by this and it consumes their politics. Politicians are only complicit as long as it serves their purposes and helps them remain in power. They will start siding with men once enough voters side with men. Where the battles needs to occur is the schools and in the media.
We need to stop the feminist/leftist indoctrination that is occuring in our schools and universities.

I know there's progress but i just can't believe the shit i read on almost on a daily basis. I don't think women can fathom the extreme resentment a large portion of men have towards women in general and feminism in specific. They don't believe men will turn their backs on women.

Well, that's too bad. I suppose it's tough taking a little criticism when you've pretty much never had it happen before.
For what it's worth, this is NOTHING compared to the shaming, blaming, and demonizing men have been subjected to for over 40 years now...as I point out in this video, so far "good" feminists have done nothing but defend their own behaviour and that of other feminists, and tried to repair Feminism's image.
As for real support? I've yet to see anything of consequence.

It's not my job to make sure I separate the "bad" feminists from the "good" feminists. I'm glad to see you believe in the equality of the sexes...but you are being lied to, and manipulated, by feminists if you think it has ANYTHING to do with equality.
It's a female-superiority movement. Investigate the issues on both sides, then tell me who you think has it worse.
Make sure you verify some facts though...for instance, sexism does not cause the wage gap, and women abuse men at equal rates.

The MRA movement needs to recruit more people who are sympathetic to men's issue in order to put any meaningful pressure on self serving politicians. If we can't threaten their ability to get re-elected the status quo will remain.
I was really encourage to see that Men's advocacy group start up at UoC. The green shoots are starting to sprout hopefully more groups will spawn in the UK, CA, AU, NZ, and the US

I tend to think that alot if not all of those so-called moderate feminists are simply sensing a shifting of the winds, so to speak, and trying to keep us divided and off balance and possibly doing some damage control as well, same old cynical crap. There's also the age old power trip of the elites to consider who empowered feminism partially to enable more control mechanism's against men. Funny thing is, the vast majority of women I've talked to about boys education are at worst indifferent, but in the main actually SUPPORT the idea of boys falling way behind girls...as a sort of "comeuppance".
And yet these same people insist they're all about equality of the sexes, and they "like men".
Misandry is so prevalent, most women don't even realize how sexist they are. And damn near NONE of them give 2 shits about men...in word OR deed.

A lot of women are in a sort of competition with men that I think most men aren't even aware of. If men beat women at something most men don't care, and if things are exactly level most see it as normal but if women head men in something a lot of women are intensely happy. But yeah to be happy because one sex is struggling when it's kid's education is bizarre. I think it actually shows they have a major inferiority complex at heart that they have to get satisfaction out of boys struggling.

When I was at school in the 80s boys and girls went on to higher education in almost 50-50 numbers. And the teachers were about 50 male 50 female too. Today it's about 80-20 female to male teachers, that's a staggering change in just one generation. Also the feminists "fragile girl" stuff started around 1990 as part of the "discovery" that boys held girls back. Boys were then dealt with (crushed) and girls encouraged and surprise surprise the equal achievements turned to huge imbalance.

Which is not a very bright long term strategy considering a woman's defintion of a 'good' man is someone who earns more than the woman. If there are a limited number of professional men, women really are going to have a difficult time find adequate marriage material. Not to mention some dolt they can milk a good living off of once they rape him in family court.

Beautifully over-simplified, in the sense that most of the inequalities men face predate modern feminism . Some feminist projects have had negative effects on men - but, will still be worth it when the resultant benefits are opened up to, and fully accessed, by men also, eventually. Men's rights trickle down from women's, and are implemented by stealth, so don't expect too many announcements by POLITICIANS, on the subject of men's rights, unless you as an articulate MRA, become one yourself.
