@DigitalWorkz start by looking for a blueprint. They have to be scaled and cut into two pictures--front view and side view. then upload the pictures to the proper perspective--front to front, side to side. from there, it's all tracing.

Actually, there was a WWII german fighter jet plane that looked just like that. Flew like shit, though. But it was considered the grandfather of all modern fighter jets.

I saw this doc about the end of the Luftwaffe. They needed to buy time enough to produce a new airforce of jetfighters to "win the war." So they set aside several thousand prop fighters, and asked for volunteers for a special squadron. The idea was that this squadron would have only 60 rounds of ammo, no armor, and would ram their planes into US bombers. They did succeed a few times, but made no real difference. Pretty crazy stuff.

Interestingly: the german pilots did everything in their power NOT to kill themselves. In every one of these cases, they did what they could to hit the bombers with the wings of their fighters. On history channel's animation, they'd hit and then the plane would cartwheel along the body of the bomber. The props often almost cut the bombers in half. Then they would jump out.

I believe he did it by loop cutting (by pressing Ctrl+R), selecting and separating in Edit mode (by pressing P), and then joining in Object mode (by pressing Ctrl+J)

Ok, I don't like that you don't use Mirror-mod but that's your decision. I don't like the surrounding of the cockpit, I would like a round one much more, but ok, would be more advanced with the topology then.

hey, whatsup, me again, i need to ask, now that i can do whats in that tutorial, i just need to know, how do you do that thing where you press a whole bunch of buttons then you can add "lines" to the cylinder?

That command is "EdgeLoop" yopu can use it in 2 methot:

open the menu with CTRL+E or use the hotkey CTRL+R, move the cursor over the face and press the button, afert that yuo can decide where posizionate, in the middle or near the edge and press again the button...

If you add a mirror modifyer you will get it done in half the time!

press "k" (a pop-up will appear) and chosse "Loop Cut". This will activate loop cut and allow you to cut it down.
