it's really not NBC's fault. it's the stupid people who weren't watching. you can't expect a network to keep losing money by continuing to air a show that has no audience.
@swhiteism Dude, had I seen this commercial back then, I'd have NEVER watched this show. Plus it started off on saturday, then they tried to change it. When you don't have a solid marketing plan, this shit happens. Yet we have 9 seasons of 2 and half men. I'd say "go figure" but there ain't nothing to figure out - fuck NBC
I love this show but from this promo I can see why it was canceled. It had horrible this doesn't show me what's so great about this show at all. All this commercial does is present it as some generic high school sit-com which it isn't all. Screw you NBC.
WAY better than overrated THAT 70s SHOW, should have outlasted that show by a few seasons. 70s SHOW lost it's kick after the 4th or 5th season, and all the rest was balogna. But THIS show was always good. Not one bad episode. And the acting was much better. Too bad it got cancelled so early on, it could have gone places.
I remember watch F&G when it originally aired on NBC back in 1999-2000. I hated it when NBC keep switch the show from night to night. I think TV Guide named F&G one of the best shows of 1999 and the best show you're not watching.
I was hooked on this show when ABC Family was showing reruns of it...I really thought it had a good storyline. Not to mention the fact that it's hilarious and that anyone who was awkward and/or a loner during high school could relate to it, including myself. I can't stand most of the crap that major networks choose to run for longer than a season. Why do all my favorite shows get canceled early and never air as reruns? :(
