I tried this last year after for the first time since i was a nipper and rally enjoyed the flavours and the strong throw back taste..

Lol this is what alcoholics and bums drink in Denmark, its is soooo horrible, I only drink this when im really, really drunk! The taste is just sooo alcoholic, lots of phenol notes in there! Good review Terry!
@BeerGogglesReviews When I'm getting drunk on a budget (Less than 6 quid) I have either Tennents Super or Special Brew. They're both quite different, and disgusting/nice at the same time. I know they obviously have a reputation for being tramp piss but I don't think you can really ignore that genre of lager. It's something everyone should explore.
Also, government says men shouldn't exceed 3-4 units a day. By drinking a whole can of Brew you're 'binge drinking' :O
@00acleland I'd like to see if it could be mixed with Tesco Value Bitter to make a passable cheap drink. I do think though that even the most expensive beers in general circulation are still within the budget of anyone. A beautiful drink like Golden Pride is 8.5% so will hit but you'll enjoy the process too. 4 or 5 of them will let you know you've had them. And that would be £10 or £12 well spent. Otherwise theres alway cheap scotch if it's just ABV.

This and a bottle of Thunderbird almost killed me when I was fifteen. Went to a mates birthday party and then we chucked some cans of this and a bottle of Thunderbird in a bag and hid under the railway bridge in Peckham and got bladdered. I decided I could outrun a train that was coming and it clipped the heel of my shoe and I went windmilling into a wall. Cuts and scrapes and knuckles broken in both hands but due to my drunk state I recieved less injuries haha. Saved by SPECIAL BREW!
