actually, the ak74 here uses the same standard bullet all common rifles have these days, anyways i've seen a youtube video of someone shooting a '47 and it was like ultra fast with a round drum, i think slow fire rates are unrealistic, but some might prefer it.
@CrowOfVietnam the AK 74 fires the 5.45x39 but the bullet common rifles use nowadays is the 5.56x45. They are actually quite different from eachother (I prefer the 5.45)
fucking retard what the shit? how do you think the new bb is going to go into the chamber? magically? no fuckin shit you have to pull it back. good fuckin noobs are getting stupider and stupider
It was not about whats good for the gun, but about the fact, that you DONT necessarily need to pull the charging handle to get your gun ready to fire.
And no, dry fire does not damage a GBB, if you think otherwise, tell me which parts get more abused on a GBB if you dryfire.
Did you study thermodynamics? If not, i did, and i know what that pressure can do, and what not. The seals "dont know" that there is no BB, and the gas flow is the same at the seals, in fact, because there is no BB, the pressure falls a lot faster, so abuse is less!
I'm talking about the seal in the mag. With no bb it flows out of one side of the seal instead of equally flowing out so yes, it does cause damage. I own a shop and do all the work including tech. It DOES do damage to the gun
ur making an ass out of urself, yes u can load a round into the chamber by just dryfiring. but it is not realistic to do so in the airsoft world, so people usually pull back on the charging handle. however when u are trying to fire from with the hammer not in battery then u have to pull the charging handle to "cock" the gun and also doing so will load a round
Well, if it came black, you'd get the nice natural wear from use, which would be cool. If you painted it, it may be similar, but I think it would be too silver.
that wud hurt!

gas blowback airsoft guns sound much better than the AEGs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
seriousninja 1 year ago
@seriousninja Of course, but an aeg is more practical for comeptition use.

Drum mags don't make the gun fire faster. The AK47 fires at 600rpm. The ghk is ~650-700 rpm on a warm day.

NO bullets! Why?

The blowback action is a little bit slow
bluebear668 3 years ago
It's got a realistic fire rate. AK's have a larger bullet so the bolt has to travel further.

Does this gun stop shooting when the mag is empty? Do you have to pull back the charging handle efter inserting new mag?
HarticJ1 3 years ago
no, it does not stop firing and yes, like the real thing, you have to pull the charging handle back when you insert a new mag

mewtwosucks 3 years ago
You're still able to pull the trigger and dry fire without pulling the handle which isn't very realistic. Don't try to lecture me on guns...
HarticJ1 3 years ago
there are tons of airsoft guns, where you don't need to pull the bolt back to get the first BB chambered, so get lost you amateur.
Cougar545x39 3 years ago
Those are AEGs or M4's with the bolt catch. EVERY gas blowback ak you have to pull the bolt back to chamber the first bb. god you're a fuckin noob!
mewtwosucks 3 years ago
EVERY blowback AK, of course ....you loser, you can also just pull the trigger to get the first round chambered!
Cougar545x39 3 years ago
no, as rude as he is he's absolutely right. that first dry fire is bad for the gun and wastes gas too
Jarek4 3 years ago

when you dry fire in a GBB it creates an uneven pressure and can blow the seals

Yeah it really would.
Lizzard343 3 years ago
The charging handle should be paint-able.
Stickyittoyou 3 years ago
Of course, but I'd preffer not to take it apart ot spray paint the bolt, and then not have it match up with the right color, etc.
Lizzard343 3 years ago
I agree, because it'll look awful when the paint becomes worn down.
