Looks like he is using his compact Camera.

The white balance has as much to do with the warmth here as the reflector. The reason I can say this is because not only has the model colour warmed up in the second shot, so has the background (leaves, etc). The reflector would have no affect on the background.

Actually i like the left one more. the lighting is already soft enough, the reflector just makes her chin almost disappear and lowers overall contrast. esp in her hair.

You could easily warm it up a little using WB or in post.. which actually looks like you did in the right photo because of the warmer background.

See the issue here is, i like both images! Reflector gives a much softer "nice" light but the hard edge contrasty image also looks very nice to me :-P
