  • Hey there HBT. A couple questions. What happens when it floods there? How far from your batteries is the turbine? Thanks for the inspiration and your vids.

  • @franknvest floods don't bother anything dam is secure. And turbine can run under 10m of water. But stream only raises about 2 or 3 feet. Batteries are about 130 feet from turbine. In a week or so will have a video showing batteries and everything.

  • Thanks HBT. What is the output from it? It seems to work well with low flow. I am interested in using one for my dam overflow water. How much flow do you need? Even works under the ice in winter? What's the maintenance like? Would you recommend it?

  • google aquair uw turbine for tech info. Mine puts out 100watts at 24v. Yes they are very rugged made to work under ice in the artic. 2 years so far no real mantenace just clean the sticks out of the covert every now and again.

  • I really like what you have there. Was wondering if you have an update on the project. Would love to hear more about it. Thanks for the vids.

  • @franknvest It works very well been spinning now nonstop for almost 2 years. even under the ice all winter.
