Fun clips. I liked the chorus "girls". What film did that come from? Of course, since the dancing "girls" weren't girls at all, they had to crash into each other and take pratfalls. From the clip it appears they could have done the routine quite well.

it's FRANCES Langford not francis which is a guy's name and she was a woman!!! And June Knight was not a drag queen she was also a real live woman!! so were martha raye and ethel merman!! only a few clips you had had actual "drag queens" in them.

I can't understand why people want to camp up the 1940s so much....I liked the 1920s and the 1930s looks MUCH better! WHY THE 1940s?
