  • the planet is fine.... the people are fucked

  • I do bring my own bag. It's made of burlap. I also use it as toilet paper to wipe my rear on the toilet. I use it for fresh produce, apples, oranges, veggies...i don't eat meat !...but sometimes I do return them to the bins because I change my mind alot. But you should be happy that if the grocery items smell funny lately...be happy that an environmentally aware person was shopping beforfe you and he/she was using an earth freindly bag !

  • @glublub also, people, you can use your friendly bag as a tissue during the colder climates and as well for when it's hot outside and you sneeze a lot from allergies ! GO GREEN !

  • @glublub I also use my earth friendly bag to keep my change in...rather than pollute the planet with petroleum by-product/ animal fur purses or wallets...then I allow the cashier to reach into my friendly bag to take out what I owe. WE SHOULD ALL PRACTICE EARTH FRIENDLY THINGS FOR THE PLANET !

  • @glublub pEOpLe ! I am so thankful to Ed Norton and Sheryl Crow now that I am consolidating this one simple item into 2 practical earth friendly devices !.....after being educated by Sheryl, I now only use corners of my shopping bag after I go #2 !!........who would've thought it ? HOORAY 4 HOLLYWQQD!

  • @glublub .......If only I could thank Ed and Sheryl for their great inspiration on me. Does anybody know where they grocery shop ?

    thanks

  • he should GAMMA ray everything

  • I think this has been a long time coming. I've been preaching this for awhile and always carry my cloth bags w/ me. If you keep them in the car it's easy to get used to using them instead of paper or plastic,

  • Plastic bags should be banned everywhere. Unfortunately most people won't do anything environmentally responsible unless they are forced to.

  • Love it! You wouldn't believe how much garbage volunteers clean up around the Elkhorn Slough every year.

    Great post!

  • Perfect!...when BYOB...takes on whole new meanings...love this...good man Mr Edward Norton

  • I always have my backpack, a bit like a schoolbag, that helps me save on plastic bags. I use a sturdy re-usable bag with handles (with store logos). I have 5 of them from different grocery stores or pharmacies. 5 is enough. I recycle the few plastic bags I inevitably get (these days it takes me 3 months to fill up one plastic bag with other bags for recycling, it used to take me 2 weeks).

  • Can someone tell me if plastic bags are really recyclable? To me, recyclable means we can melt them and make more bags with them.

  • Awesome! Its time to kill those plastic bags once and for all! =)

  • Ed :)

  • It's filmfestival, we can see there movies about enviroment conservation and so on. And after that there is a discussion. And besides all of that, I must say, that I admire Norton as an actor, and now I belve him even more, cause I can see he's involved in things, that are really important and we all heve to bother about that.

  • I totally agree ane support the idea. Last time I took part in event like that. We collected signatures against distributing plastic bag. Now I have at least few cotton bags. Actually yesterday I got one too. I was at the festival, called Zielono mi( in free translation it means I feel green).

  • I like to print my own designs on t-shirts and other things and I think I might print "Bring Your Own Bag" and "Paper or plastic? How about neither. Bag the bag" on the front and back respectively of one of my bags. And hopefully it'll help to get the word out.

  • at last we eat our own garbage because the fish in the ocean eat this plastic shit and we eat the fish with the plastic shit :D i support you

  • 5*!

  • great vid! i wish prime minister rudd would watch it!

  • Edward Norton!!!! I love you so, so much!!! You're amazing! The perfect guy ...

  • excellent!
