You all know americans are REALLY stupid and again they will vote for a fucker like McCain who is pro war and gun gun gun like that crazy fucker bush just because the little americans a scared of everything ...god damn stupid lab rats...anyway this guy has THE answer and what is going to happen you think ... NOTHING, AGAIN cauz your all stupid morons. You truely don't deserve to vote cauz your all too fuck'n'dumb
This is a man who wants to amend the Constitution based on the Bible. He praises the 2nd amendment and champions gun ownership rights, which i have no problem with, but how can he depend so much on one constitutional amendment while so blatantly ignoring the first, and arguably most important, amendment.
I say again, he wants to implement faith-based initiatives throughout the federal government and it's wrong. I think his prior service as a baptist pastor is a very real conflict of interests if he wants to occupy the office of the presidency. Religion has no place in legislation, according to the Constitution, at least.
I just watched "Freedom to Fascism" on Youtube, and all I can say is, wow. If you're undecided about who to vote for, it'll definitely help you make the right choice.
I don't think people realize the actual cost of medical treatment. I'm not talking about the little co-pay or deductables we pay. I am talking about the millions of dollars it takes to treat one American fighting brain cancer. Does anyone here want to start picking up the tab for millions of sick people. "If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until it's free" Huckabee
if i were president, i wouldn't let my people get drained by taxes. it's not the government's job to provide everything for people. that's what socialism is (and if you've ever noticed, it's never worked very well). what i would do is exhort the Christian Church to financially help ill people more. governmentally, what huckabee said was good.
What about disease which could not have been prevented by lifestyle choices? I was caught at age 23 with an inoperable benign brain tumor when I was between insurance plans, and now as a self employed 30 year old, no one on planet Earth will sell me insurance. What say you, sir?
if you are watching this and making a comment, i am going to assume you are a fairly educated and rational individual, and if i am right, then you will agree with me on the fact that no matter what is done there is always exceptions in any situation, and you would be an exception to the lifestyles changing part. you would still be included in the plan, but your lifestyle had nothing to do with it.
It is very unfortunate about your situation. As a self employed healthy 26 yr old who has no insurance because I cannot afford it I say this.... Insurance is a luxury! Since when is it anyones God given right to be heeled?
I agree with you, but I think we need some more details, Governor Huckabee. Is there some literature you could point me to which goes into more detail about your ideas about prevention vs. intervention. Also, could you provide us with more details about exactly how the system would be changed by you, as the president? That is, not what you stand for, but how would you cause the change?
Just look back at what happened to health care when she (Mrs Clinton) messed with it in her husband first term. It's why health care cost what it does today.
Mrs. Clinton's plan failed, that is, it was never put into practice. I don't think she and her husband are to blame for the high health care costs today.
Most everything she/they did failed. I am not saying all the high health care costs today is their fault. But you better go take another look at what medical price did during that time.
Of course there is one big reason that health care costs are so high in this country and I am amazed, (maybe not so), that more people don't bring it up. It's called lawyers!
He didn't say anything about how he actually intends to prevent illness on a national level. Not a single thing. Not even the most basic suggestion of a policy. He states that 15% of the population uses 85% of the health care resources. Well, yeah. They're called "the elderly". So... what? We can reduce health care costs by exterminating them? Hey, maybe you can get your buddy Chuck Norris to rampage through America's nursing homes, punching old people in the face until they all die.
Prevention? This is coming from a 400 lb. fatso, who had to get gastric bypass or else? I wonder if Mr. Huckabee's big fat government medical insurance program paid for that?
Wait until Mr. Huckabee starts to get the side effects of gastric bypass. No stroll through the park, just because you've lost a hundred or so pounds. The demons that got you fat to begin with are still there.
Some may state that Universal Health Care is "needed"; that it is a basic human right that should be provided to all people. Let us think of some things that we REALLY need.
Food, clothing, shelter, etc. Should these things be universally provided by the government as well? There are thousands of homeless living on our streets without a consistent form of shelter, food, or clothing. Are the homeless less needy than those with food, shelter, and clothing who simply don't have insurance?
If people aren't going to take responsibility for their own health, giving them insurance to help them fix problems they could have avoided with better choices is, in my opinion, a waste of tax dollars. Improving general health is a key to less wasted health-care, so more resources can be put to people who have real issues.
I agree. The governments job is to provide security for the nation, thats it. Anyone that doesnt agree with me look at canada's healthcare system and tell me "free" healthcare is a good thing.
I don't think Canadian health care is as bad (relative to the US) as you make it out to be. Yes, there are issues with service availability for certain procedures, but is that far worse than 45 million people w/out care--many of whom can't afford it
This video points out the difference between a man who served for 10 years solving problems and improving life for his constituents - versus a woman who started out as a corporate attorney, covering bug businesses' rears, and who pushes unrealistic, unexplored ideas. Mike in 08!
Thanks for pointing out Gov. Huckabee that Hillary's health care plan will raise taxes sky high. I really like your common sense approach in dealing with our broken health care system. Just another reason why you have my vote!

Excellent idea
Every person is responsible for his health.
We have to be responsible of what we eat and more.
Many diseases are due to our failure to discipline ourselves to eat properly.

Yes, food, shelter, and clothing, like health care are basic human rights we as a civilized society should guarantee to our citizens.
