  • my Friend has a 2006 Chrysler T&C and their going to sell it I love those generation and newer ones and the older one

  • I have a T&C and LOVE it.

  • why are the tailgate actuators so noisy?

  • @form109 Don't forget who made this van lol :P

  • It's dissapointing that I read on Wikipedia that the latest model Volkswagen Tiguan uses this same boat anchor of an engine. 21 year old engine in a modern vehicle...on a VW too??!

  • @talldude123 Tiguan uses the 2.0T off the VW GTI

  • @Intechdude300 Oops...my bad. Meant to say Routan (which they stopped making if I'm not mistaken for 2010). Still, they used that engine well after it should have been used.

  • Chryslers old Chime sounds cheap idk why

  • God the build quality is atrosious...This was when Chrysler was owned by a bunch of cheapskates who used a lot of cost cutting

  • Doesn't the Chrysler chime sound like the Chevrolet "bong", just sped up?

  • I have the same car, but black

  • Eh, I believe I commented on another video of yours about this, but the ford freestar was just about the worst minivan, for the money, in 2006. That's said because my mom drives one. If I'm honest, the driving experience and ride quality isn't as bad as most people make it look, though gas mileage is crap. 16 mpg... oh well, at least it looked more modern than this thing, and pulls boats more confidently

  • @YiJustin558

I've driven a 2005 Odysseys, 2005 Quests, 2004 Siennas & the experience is so much better.

Driven so many Freestars too but I put them in the same category when it comes to reliability which isn't good along with both lacking refinement.

  • A bunch of monkeys went to home depot and constructed this POS, and then they swarmed the comments of your video, LMAO!

  • @Lexuslover123 stow-n-go was the only clever thing here.

  • @Intechdude300 The seats look like shit, even when the car is brand new, lol but stow and go was a good idea.

  • The 3.8L in the wrangler is a different engine.

  • @zachtravers Same engine, just that the engine is transversely mounted for the Van ( FWD ) vs the RWD/4WD in the Wrangler.

Wranglers do not use the bigger POS 3.7L V6 if thats what you're confusing it with.

  • @Intechdude300 Huh, My uncle has a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, it sounds different and feels different. Feels much faster in that, granted it has a six speed.

  • @zachtravers

I don't mean to come out like an ass a moment ago but I'm serious, just do a quick wiki search :P

  • Most biased car reviewer ever.

  • Respond to this video... Why make that comment for the biggest POS Van out there. It's not personal opinion, its fact. Just about everything else offered by the competition is better & more reliable. Only feature this has that the others didn't was the stow-N-go.

  • This guys a fucking tool.

  • @gsandhu16 Sure, if you like POS like this then you're always gonna need a tool for it :P

  • How does the new odyssey suck?

  • @Intechdude300 When you say "rolling relics", do you mean mini vans in general? What is the modern day approach in your opinion?

  • @Ometheon

Relics as in they pretty much are the same vans they were in the early 90's. Same Engine, Transmissions, suspension setup, not so good soso quality, the same terrible reliability. Not Mini vans in general. I would put the Odyssey, Quest as the top traditional minivans & the modern approach with the Ford Grand C-Max & Mazda5.

  • @Intechdude300 Yup, I agree with you there. I would also agree regarding bad interior quality, but that's not a unique feature to the T&C, I'd say basically all newer Chryslers and Dodges have not exactly nice interiors. I've been driving a lot of them lately for extended periods as rentals and maybe apart from the new Grand Cherokee, most interiors from the late '90s / early 2000s were better in fit & finish.

Though my old 7 series BMW is still the most indestructible interior I ever saw. ;)

  • I like these and I do not know why. o.O

  • @toyota4life94 Yes last gen

  • Looks like a Capable Family Hauler aside from crap quality lol.

  • you know shit

  • ODYSSEY ALL THE WAY XD

  • man i shouldn't be complaining about the sienna or quest as much after seeing this, those are much better built than any american minivan out there especially the caravan

  • The 1996-2000 model years were a lot more attractive than this generation, and dare I say, actually had some style. This generation was just a half-assed refresh. However, my grandparents had a '96 and '02 Caravan and they were surprisingly reliable for them. I've ridden in these and found the seats very comfortable and the ride to be compliant, but I'd never actually DRIVE one of these vans.

  • @toyota4life94 I don't think so. This is too punishing in so many ways.

  • Could you keep a eye out for a current gen Escalade?

  • I am literally not kidding. If the family ever found out i ever bought a Chrysler or Dodge they would start freaking out and start fighting over email. lol. Person 1: "Did you hear that bob(fake name)bought a chrysler?

Person 2: WHAT! I-I $%#@ HE'S NEVER ALLOWED TO MY HOUSE AGAIN. Lol i'd probably get threatening phone calls telling me to buy a toyota

  • Haha, my dads 99 sienna is better.

  • ewwww.

  • i always here the older style with squeaking belts of some kind.

  • Comment removed

  • I know that this is random, but what car manufacturer do you consider the best in terms of interior quality?

  • @macbookpro57

BMW & Audi dont disappoint much.

  • @Intechdude300 i think Audi interiors are meh.

    But BMWs are nice tho.

  • @Intechdude300 My friends have a BMW X5 and an Audi A7

  • I wonder why it has all the options of a rip of the line van but no leather seats? Even a power lift gate, some vans didn't even have they available at the time

  • I rented one same color and options but it had rear DVD. It was a Touring. I liked it. Lots of room.

  • Whatever font you used for the description in the video, I like that one better. Bleh, I can't believe Chrysler only put out 215 horsepower from a 3.8 liter. Granted they did better than the Freestar, but still...the odysssey was so much better in 2006.

  • @Intechdude3000 nice van.

  • I'll stick with my Sedona. LOL

  • @uakronsam116 Sedona's aren't too bad, the first gen ones weren't the best tho, 2nd gen improved.

  • @talldude123 1st gen was still better than this POS

  • @uakronsam116 Oh of course. The Kia's engine, while shared with the Sorento, still had a reasonable amount of power and wasn't pushrod.

  • @uakronsam116 sedona's aren't too bad tho the older siennas, odyssey & quest are better

  • @2004NissanSentra yeah but the price difference between the sedona and the others is HUGE

  • @uakronsam116 the new sienna and odyssey suck ass despite the higher price tag

  • It's pretty sad that I know this, but I think the 3.8 was detuned to 205 hp in 2005? My parents have an 03 Town & Country and have had a Chrysler minivan ever since I've been alive so I know a little too much about these vans hahaha. Even though this one is an old 3.8, at least it's not the 3.3 which I've driven in a couple short wheelbase models... 3.3 sounds worse, transmission feels rougher and of course it's a dog.

  • @irw08 Even in the 90's when my dad bought a few of these for clients, I still remember that these were trouble lol.

  • complete junk.
