I have his "Standing on this bridge" CD. It was in the free with purchase pile in Bellingham's Cellophane Square. I got it free with purchase at least 12 years ago. It became my favorite feel good album. whenever I put it on around people I am often asked who this is.
@pandeman Well I would say that the song takes the ironic view that Service is thought to have wrote the poem in. It also takes something of the ballad style that would have been popular with people that would be mining.

My favorite poem ever. I loved this, but it did seem very light for the dark scenario. Still though...great job. Thank you.
