Yeah, your definitely right on that one but the reason is to pick up more revenue, nothing more nothing less. The economy goes down so the government decides to give out more tickets and as a result they make big money and we lose major money. If your a New Jersey resident namely from northern Jersey I'm sure you've seen the new "Red Light cameras" they've put up for our SAFETY. yeah right!? They just come up with better ways to steal money from us considering those lights flash on YELLOW!

I understand it is to pick up revenue, but they don't do it just for money. Real life cops aren't like the cops in "Super Troopers" or "Reno 911". There is a reason behind giving tickets. Lets say you complain that you got a speeding ticket from them, well how do you know you wouldn't have been dead if it wasnt for the traffic stop. And those red light cameras ARE for safety. Everytime you drive through a red light you are at risk of getting hit by a huge 18-wheeler or some other fatal incident.

its not hard to change patterns, but it is getting my huge fingers in the window to hit the toggle, all of my new cars have the switches undernaeth which is a lot easier

I have 5 toggle switches under the car to turn on the lights and or siren and 1 master switch. you seem to have a problem going into the car and may want to try my idea. happy new year
