My dad had one of these in the 80's. I would take it out on a saturday night and terrorize the streets of Witchita Ks. with it. One time I drag raced a 924 porsche and it looked the porsche was backing up! I raced it against a 1969 camero with a 350 and he got about 1 an 1/2 car lengths ahead of me off the line but I caught up to him at the finnish and we pretty mutch tied. When I first challanged him he laughed his ass off but after the race he was in aww over the beastly 500!

saw an eldorado here in san diego the other day probably a couple years old than this. black, super clean, lowered, with a mild fender flare job and fat big wheels on low profile tires. knocked me out it was so damn cool. Only thing that scares me about the eldorado is I have the chilton's 60's car repair guide the fat one. open the section on eldorado R & R engine or tranny and separate. page after page... can't go there.

Oh man what kind of exhuast do you have on that? It sounds exactly like my dad's old 64 ford galaxy 500 and he has Cherrybomb glasspacks on his, is that what you have?

Damn Nice Ride.......70 Eldo is the best one made.....I got a 73 I am working on.....mechanically sound but trunk rusted out and under vynal top, a motherFn' hassle with the rust.....hopefully get it done by this summer...I always like the 70 better.

That was an era where they knew what they were doing with design and style. Things are a little better now once again finally, but that generation and those styles go down in the books. Who cares about gas when your driving a car like that - you care about the feel, fun and freedoms of classic auto! This car is a gem!

Never sell your Cadillac, the new ones don't have anywhere near the same styling points and protective steel frame. Very nice car.

It runs on LPG and that costs about 0.45 Euro per Liter. it does 5.2 kms/liter or 19.2 liters/100km when cruising.

Gas in the Netherlands costs about 1.40euro, at this time,and that is per litre,not gallon.

How cheap is the gas in Netherlands because you own a car like that (you can say it in gulden). Here in Sweden it's nearly impossible to own a car like that. The gas price is far too high.

It's a 500 Cubic Inch(8.2 Liter) V8 and has about 400 HP stock, and now about 800 NM torque :-)
