  • stunning horse. Dutch warmbloods are my favourites :)

  • I think people saying your instructor is out of her depth is really lame on here...how do you know from one short clip?? frankly, I thought the rider should have just done what the instructor was telling her and not argued with her.

  • I ride PSG and train GP (in a fashion) and used to ride 3*eventing. Your instructor was well out of her depth. You seemed to have abetter idea as you rightly questioned things which certainly didnt make sense.you did have a nice seatwhich has already been commented on. shame you dont have him anymore as the right instruction would have seem a much more up hill movement, in return giving you a much deeper seat and quieter hand. well done

  • wow! you and your horse are amazing together! what breed/how big is your horse? he's gorgeous :) and you ride him really well, a fantastic partnership :) your instructor sounds really nice too :)

  • He is a 16hand Dutch Warmblood gelding by Flemmingh, and was 6 yrs old at the time of this video, competing at BD Novice. I have since sold the horse to a wonderful home in New York.

  • @Equiart wow only 16 hands?! he looks so much bigger haha

  • why are these hands moving , how do you think it feels in his mouth ?? seriously

  • I'm not sure that my instructor would want to be identified; her first name is Sarah if that helps... :-)

  • lovely to watch such a well matched pair, i love your position and the beautifull soft outline you have your horse in-effortless!! (i know it takes work!) can i ask who your instructor is?

  • You guys look wonderful!!

  • fantastic i hope to ride like that oneday. please watch my video any pointers would be great thank you.

also lol for 54 your very internet savvy well done :P

  • his trot looks so comfy!

  • how do you afford a horse. Humm do your parents do everything for you. You are a good rider.

  • This did make me laugh :-)

I am 54, so... no, my parents don't help me.

I do have a wonderful, generous husband!

  • very good! i really like ur horse, he has a beautiful open trot and u ride him so quietly, one thing i would say is to try not to let the medium trot get too fast, think more power from behind rather than speed, other than that brilliant!

  • Hi, I ride PSG and your horse is beautifully balanced.I feel like your instructor did not have the experience to teach you upto meduim level which is were abouts your horse should be. You have a good seat and i wish you the very best of luck.

  • Thanks! Encouragement is always appreciated!

  • im sorry to say but he is leading on the wrong leg you look great together... remeber work as a team otherwise very nice

  • Uh, no, the lead is correct if you look closer.

  • The lead is correct.

Equiart - You and your horse look to have a lot of potential. : ) He's very cute.

  • soo good! keep it up

  • i love how supple your horse is!! great job!

  • Relax and Breathe. Don't try to rider harder/better than you do at home. Your horse will be more relaxed if YOU are. And have fun!

  • I agree! You look great on your horse. He's a great mover and you seem be a great rider aswell! Any pointers you could give me? I'm going to my first dressage ponyclub rally next month. She's a green horse any advice would be great!

  • you are such a balanced rider and your horse really does use his body. you are a lovely pair to watch... your horse is amazing..
