@steveleopardshan one of my sihings at my old Wing Chun school had picked it up from a friend of his that learned it at a Seven Star school, but warned me from the outset that he was a bit fuzzy on parts. It was similar to the variant I had learned at school that taught the Wah Lum curriculum, but without all the extraneous stuff, so I started practicing it this way. I've since have started watching other Chut Sing Tang Lang clips to try and match the way they execute the set.
Started out in a break-off WahLum school, but learned some seven star from a guy I trained with at a Hung Gar/Wing Chun school (long story) and have been picking up as much of it as I could ever since. I'd really like to pursue it further but there aren't any Mantis (or Hung Gar schools for that matter) where I moved to=/
very true, which is funny when you watch those old Shaw Brothers kung fu movies where some guy learns from some 'secret kung fu manual' and starts kicking ass and taking names.
Instructional videos aren't bad, better than most books in that still shots of postures don't always convey the manner of movement from one posture to the next which is where the force is generated.
supposedly it is the original Mantis form, so most branches of Mantis kung fu have their own version of it, so I don't think it would be difficult to find an online manuscript, book, or instructional DVD for it
wow did u create it by ur own? :DD u sure it's bang bo??? lol

thanks, man, I think wearing my favorite shirt helped a bit=)
My goal is to get that as fast and as explosive as Wilson Wu, his Bung Bo Quan is scary

Thanks for your help! But learning from a book has it's limits, with no one correcting my mistakes lol! Really, thanks for the info. :)

Nice, but shouldn't it flow more?
It looked very good though.

My primary is Hung Gar, which isn't as fluid as Mantis and definitely shows through. Plus, I was hung over
