Great Layout, quite locomotives..... To me the wooden tressel seems out of place, and far too small for HO. The beams are thin, and the length is short compared to the amount of beams.... I kitbashed my own wood tressel for HO
thanks mike, there is actually a local hobby shop that sells trains and the building to go with it, i like building model cars, but im getting kinda bored with them lol. so im thinking of building somthing like this in my garage.
oh cool. one thing i did realize is the rail roading is alot more pricey, then model cars. im curious how much does someone spend, building a set like this one????
While that is true , you spend a little at a time over many years , and the amount you spend is up to each person. Over about 7 years I put about $5000.00 into the trains but one does not have to. To get going maybe $500.00 tops.
wow, i was right, i was guessing that set value was about 5k. so where do u store that big thing lol??? ya i think im gonna try and build one. now the train its set, the engine and the cars are sold seperately, cause at the hobby shop i noticed that.
Hello my name is Josh and I have built my bench work and have been workin on a track plan for a N Scale layout and my question is will 89' Superliners look good on 19.25" radius corner. I know the larger the corner the better it looks but with the layout im currently wanting to design 19.25" radius is the best fit.
when will another run of intermountain Cigar F7s come out????

I am not sure , but you may call InterMountain and see what they say. I would love that as well.

That was exactly how I got started in railroading. I had built plastic kits since the age of 5 and was just tired of it.

incredible scenery Mr. Fifer. I have an 13` by 6` N scale layout set in South Dakota, but mine does not compare!

Thanks Ninja , But this layout has been torn out and the new ACTRR has begun. I have saved 95% of the buildings though.
