Elizabeth looks hot in that slip. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. But I think a woman wearing a slip is one of the sexiest pieces of lingerie a woman can wear. It doesn't matter if it's a full slip or a half slip. It's a big turn on for me and for millions of other men as well.

I like the dimensions they add to big daddy's character with the extra scenes of the movie. I prefer to assume the skipper stuff that is mentioned in the play, even though they dodge around it in the movie. I think the movie still works with those assumptions, even if they aren't mentioned.

But it's harder to know exactly how Tennessee Williams thought about the character, since he's somewhat vague in interviews. I wish I'd learned about this play in class, it's much more interesting than Death of a Salesman, haha.

It's there to be sure, but one of the major complaints Tennessee Williams had with the film was the way the relationship between Brick and Skipper was marginalized to make room for a more traditional, and at the time more socially acceptable, romantic ending for Brick and Maggie.

4 Stars. One of my fave also. Gorgeous onscreen couple. Kinda weird to hear a modern song set to a 60's movie but it works. Like you can hear some audio in some of the scenes. You sorta cut off one of my many fave parts, when Newman looks up downstairs, those eyes. Still nice video.
