I just received the 2011 MSR Hubba Hubba that I purchased online from HumbleOutdoors for about $225. This tent has a multiyear track record of happy owners, so I just pulled the trigger while prices were at year end close out prices. It's now set up in the yard... looking good!
i just got one myself, and first night out was a trial by fire. its first night out experienced heavy rains and i was staked in at the bottom of a hill with plenty of runoff and me and my girlfriend stayed plenty dry and so did all of our gear. i think this tent is amazing and worth every penny.(even tho i only paid 200 for it) he he he
It's a great tent...but you're right it's not $300 worth of tent these days; I waited for a sale and piled up a discount I had with the store on top of it for a total of $140 + $30 for the footprint.
But it'll last and I'm sure it's worth it now that you've got it!
