The books (and thus the movies) 'grow' with the reader. the reader gets older, so Harry has to face 'scarier' and 'harder' problems (at least, that's what I think, srry for the crappy english :) )

I like how the themes capture both the darkness and the magic of these films.

I also like how each one, as with he books and movies, is progressively darker, starting from the cheery first movie, to the darkness of the last movie.

This is a series in which I laughed, I cried, and I was wrapped up in.

Yes it saddens me that, it's over, but it's fantastic that the producers and actors did so well. this is one series where it could have been cheesy, but ended up Being a classic for the ages.
