@swimmingable Be sure to keep your elbows right where they are. Make the upper arms as solid as rocks! It could be a sign for more arm and shoulder strength training as well!
@swimmingable work on your upper strength i had trouble with this as well, but it gets easyer, try doing a handstand up agenst a wall and do pushups, have a spotter though.
@patsy1409 backbend practices in yoga and otherwise can be a great complimentary to your kickover and you don't really have to but, personally, I find it very helpful
