@amaqula i believe a secular nation will resist threats to it just as any nation would. Survival tends to motivate humans regardless of their ideologies or religion. This is clearly demonstrated throughout history. Indeed, it is the athiest thinkers (Hitchens, Dawkins, Hersi Ali etc) who have most strongly resisted Islamist threats to western democracy, while the pope is largely mute on the issue.

To have faith in Jesus and to spread the message across and in doing so, let others ecperience God or the healing of God etc. And those rituals and traditions that any state churches have aren't described in the Bible. So it is an invention of men. Wearing white or black dress. Going around with the cross. Creating "Holy Water". Praying to people like Mary or Priests instead of Jesus. The list goes on... Muslims only make up about 15% of the population of India (the total pop. is now over a billion).
Population growth is still going on in India, bangledesh, and Nepal ( of which Hindu is the state religion). Populations go through periods of inflation and deflation. Europe and Japan is the ONLY places were birth rates have been in decline for so long (which the birth rates are rising slowly). And in every country (even in the US) the white race is in decline.
