  • VAMOS A TOCACHE!

  • Just read that R.S. used to dedicate this song to Ian Curtis when played live. Never knew that. Interesting.

  • best song ever!!! :D

  • Oh, remeber. Oh, please don't chage.

  • My favorite band. One of a kind!...

  • Awsome Robert!

  • Whenever I listen to this I get so many memories... I remember it was a hot summer night, I was 13 or 14 and was listening to the 'Faith' album & this played for the first time... I was mesmerized...

The further we go, the older we grow, the more we know the less we show...

  • Robert is just simply gorgeous in this video! =)

  • grrrrrrruurghhh this band...the BEST ever 4 EVER!

  • volume on max.

  • learn How to play DOUBT!

  • really LOVE this song. reminds me of getting ready for school, waiting until leaving the house to put my eyeliner on, outside, in the cold, trying to smoke a clove. sure miss those days...

  • right the f on !!!!!!!!

  • Eso es tán PUNK!!!!!! Great to hear a song w/ no one lead guitar! Two basses in a infernal race! Simon vs Robert, they wont follow classic musical statements (guitar bass drums)

    So Anarquist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Robert Smith was yummy in this vid :) so young...

  • oh gosh he was very yummy in this video

he is yummy in all his videos hehe:P

  • Ain't seen or heard this 4 years - two bass guitars and drums with no lead or rhythm. Set the scene no one else has done it since. Still a classic.....Wait 4 someone 2 do better LOL

  • that's impossible):

  • What do you mean impossible? do you play in a band? Can you play bass? Have you tried to play like that? If not then be quiet cause you no nothin about music

  • Don't hold your breathe! lol

  • This is the shit, i fucking love Joy Division, and The Cure, i am very happy that Robert Smith dedicated this song to Ian Curtis. Love this song.........too bad music isn't like this now-a-days. Music is lost............

  • I tought myself Bass playing along to this song and other Cure Stuff along with Siouxsie and the Banshees

    Great stuff

  • Me too! Its so much easier to teach yourself than to try and find lessons. I can play Fascination Street, Just Like Heaven, Charlotte Sometimes, The Lovecats. I can play a few more, and I'm learning The Hanging Garden =]

  • This song is incredible... I remember the first time I listened to this... At first I thought it wasn't their greatest song but after a few more listens, this was permanently on repeat and I decided to get their whole discography. The Cure then became my favourite band, and I even collected their bootlegs. :) Now I haven't my extensive collection anymore, but wow, these were some great days!

  • quanto sei fico!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ooh robert smith looks cool

  • lol's chubby! XD

  • I remember tripping sooo hard to this song

  • I never got past Primary.

I bought this on cassette 1982.

  • totally 80's song

  • OMG!! Robert Smith is SOOOO HOT!!!!!!

  • I saw him on Carson Daly the other night...I can't believe he's 50 now. I'm feeling SO OLD!

  • Im 38 and it still rules.

  • its the energy from punk but with the post punk aesthetic. i aspire to write music like this!

  • bloody awesome!! those...really were.... the days!!!!! thank you.

  • This song is fucking fantastic!

    what a great band! <3

  • Plus, they should totally release a cd version of the cassette 'standing on a beach' ! I would love to have the singles AND all of those fantastic B-sides on one disk.

  • hey Universalfuckingmusicgroup get of your goddamfuckingassholes and re-release 'Staring at the Sea the Images' on to DVD. Cure fans have long warn out those old VHS tapes.
