  • Oh my goodness...I can't believe I still have the hots for Benny, but it's true, I do, I do, I do!

  • Klinga Mina Klockor is a great album - I only bought it recently, but I love it.

  • "Klinga Mina Klockor"?? Sounds like a Swedish porno film!

  • @mistofoles

What???? What's so "pornographic" about that song?

  • @mistofoles Sound my bells, (kling my bells?)

  • As you suggest, the second line of the chorus of Burning My Bridges uses the first bit of this. I think it's very sad that the second version of Hamlet III (about autumn leaves) never came to anything, as what survives is a beautiful song fragment.

Benny was undoubtedly the musical engine behind Abba.

  • Thanks for looking in. Maybe ABBA will release a best of album with all of their unreleased songs. Wouldn't that be great!

    Peace, Jim~

  • Oh Benny I just love him!! Thanks a lot Jim :-D

  • Hej Sandy...How did you manage to get in here without me seeing this. I'm sorry I missed you sweetie! We all know how you feel about Benny, so I should have expected a comment from you, Thank you.

  • Hehe it's okay Jim. Thank you for doing it hehe, by the way I LOVE the first picture of Benny he looks so sweet and cute!! :-D

  • The intro is HAmlet!!!

  • Yes it is Marielle!

  • i didn't knew it was him who made this! i love this song!

  • Benny Andersson is a musical genius. He seems to get very little "visible" credit when it comes to ABBA, but I think that's just Benny. He's quiet and prefers to be out of the limelight!

    Thank you for looking in.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Jim, I love this piece! It was just in one of your recent videos wasn't it? I know I just heard this song but not just the intramental version?? Or am I dreamning again!! Anyway I really like it a lot. I know I have this song too if I could just remember what album it is on!! Very nice!!

    -Dallas

  • Thank you Dallas. You are right, this is the instrumental part of my video "Hamlet III (Parts 1&2). This particular track is from Benny's first solo album "Klinga Mina Klockor". Hamlet III (Parts 1&2), is on the box set "Thank You For The Music" Disc #4, on a track called "ABBA Undeleted".

  • thanks jim, I actually think I have this somewhere, but thanks to you, I rediscover music lost in my own collection,,,cool pics of benny also

  • Hey Alan, It's been awhile. This is my little attempt at a Benny tribute. You don't see or hear much about him, but without him where would they be? Thank you Alan.

  • Thanks Jim-another Aggy nut here but you cannot ignore the other 3 great talents in the group and great to see Benny featured here!

    Kind regards Bill

  • Thanks Bill. All's fair at Aggy Productions!

  • thanks Jim, for some reason I find this melody really familiar, cool vide as always;)

  • You're welcome Salo. Remember my video just before this one "Hamlet III (Parts 1 and 2), this is the instrumental part of that. Thank you!

  • that explains it...love the sound of the accordion, thanks Jim

  • First post went south and never showed up,trying again. Love the new pics, you obviously cracked the pic vault,Jim. I hear some strings in this,is it all accordian? Also have to wonder if our "square dance" is a close cousin to schottis.

  • The new pics still seem to show up Rob. Orsa Spelman plays the Fiddle on many of these songs. It's very possible that it's related to the square dance, according to Elin there's lots of spinning...I get dizzy just thinking about it! Thanks Rob.

  • This is excellent you always find the best videos Jim, Its great when you do a whole video dedicated to one of the abba groups, amazing great work

  • Thanks Christine, you're a sweetheart for saying that. They all need their own special time here. While I do love Aggy, none of the others could have been replaced and still call themselves ABBA!

  • A nice reply to the Hamlet vid last night Jim,

Thanks for the upload, I like this version alot

  • Thanks Shay, I figured they would comnpliment one another. All done with accordion...amazing!

  • He makes playing the accordian cool! and gets a great lively sound from it

  • It sounds great! Years and years....oh, and did I mention years of practice make perfect!

  • Shay, I hope you understand what you just have stated here... a cool guy is of course supposed to play the accordian, start practising!!;)

  • Jim, may I have this dance?:) do you dance the schottis in the US btw??

Great tribute, Benny is a musical genius and deserves more credit.

  • Anytime you want to dance Elin, I'm ready(as long as it a slow dance, nothing fast!)Is "Schottis" anything like the waltz? Yes..Benny Deserves this tribute very much.

  • nope schottis is very fast actually. there is a lot of spinning too. but it's a lot of fun watching others doing it!:)

  • Sorry, no spinning for Jim....I'm dizzy enough as it is!

  • alright, I'll let you be for this time;)

  • Thank you sweetheart!

  • Thanks Jim. I've been working on this for a day now and I'm just getting it uploaded. My brain is running on empty again...blah!

  • Great Jim goes well with the evening
