  • there are no records of a joseph kahili on kauai, why is that?

  • @Brozyna206

All I know is that there are a lot of people with no records. I can't even find my own blood father on the internet.

  • how could he have been taught by Joseph Kahili, if he died in 1918??

  • @Brozyna206

That's simple, it's not the same Joseph Kahili. My Hawaiian grandfather was from Kauai and never lived on Big island.

  • Thanks kue'l, looks like you had a great time on Hawaii!

  • @HawaiiHypnosis

Lets put this in a little perspective, we have a white guy teaching a bunch of other mostly white people, who have come of their own free will, some ideas on how to raise their self esteem.

    Where is your problem?

  • Whether Huna is Hawaiian doesn't matter to me, as long as there are deep lessons and interesting things in it. It works for me and that is enough.

  • I visited the "Huna is not Hawaiian" facebook page and read some of the information there, if anything, the information they give out supports the conclusion that Huna IS hawaiian.

This page also claims that Huna is a contributing factor to "ethonocide of native hawaiian people and our culture". Very strong words indeed. However no supporting facts are given for this point of view. In general this page seems to be against huna and some other stuff and not for anything in particular.

  • @TrueGreatness73 Serge King decided to change the meaning of Mana, Lono, Ku and Kane. He called ku, lono and kane the 3 selves (conscious, superconsicousness, etc.). Ku, Lono, and Kane are Hawaiian Gods, not what he claims them to be. Also why can't any locals here on Kauai veryify a "Joseph Kahili" or Wana kahili that supposedly taught Serge? Its funny when you search for any sign of a Kahili family on Kauai alls you get are refferrences to Serge King. He is a huge fraud.

  • @hawaiihypnosis Well of course this guys a fraud but how is Huna not Hawaiian. I am still confused. Might be the cool-aid I was drinking. lol. As far as Mana goes that is Polynesian for sure. I cant speak too much on Huna because I havent done the research. Interesting to know. Thanks mate. Have a good day.

  • @TrueGreatness73 First, Hawaiians didn't create Huna - so therefore its not Hawaiian. Huna was invented by Max Freedom Long in 1936

  • @hawaiihypnosis just researched and that sounds about right

  • @TrueGreatness73 TrueGreatness on that facebook page there are Kanaka Maoli's (Native Hawaiian's) that can verify that Huna is all bullshit. Native Hawaiian Scholar Charles Kenn, a Living Treasure of Hawai'i and recognized by the Hawaiian Community as a Kahuna and expert in Hawaiian traditions and History said "While this Huna study is an interesting study, … it is not, and never was Hawaiian."

  • he is very good and i mean gooooood

my life is changing as i am reading his book for better

    May Allah bliss you

  • Incredible. Near the end of the talk he describes precisely the same technique outlined in the best-selling book Psycho-cybernetics.

Thanks for sharing this. Great work, very relevant!

  • Mahalo!

  • Excellent. Look forward to part 2. Mahalo!
