My chih/pug does the same thing with his toy donkey! and also falls asleep, seems like its something than pugs and chugs particularly do!! They have a great personality!
I wish I could see the full face of the dog. Looks cute. Also, using the toy as a pacifier. Pugzilla is right. Cats do the same thing. It's comforting to them.
haha... my pug does that too with his favorite toy, but not for that long. i wonder how dogs think too. it's kinda funny how they just sit there and just look around cuz i wonder what's going on in their heads.

My beagle does the same thing. We believe it's her 'comfort' thing. She grabs a teddy when going to rest and then does this. It's so sweet.
