The director obviously knows something about cinema. This entire video felt sincere, with thoughtful camera work and an intelligent approach. I got good news and bad news for ya. This country is so wealthy the nomads don't need to form tribes to survive. That's the bad news and the good news. Until the settled figure out a way to 'integrate' the nomads, things will suck and tragedies will happen. I'm going to care as soon as we stop the hadji's from marrying 9 year old girls for a couple of hours a husband, and we stop the 'honor' killings. Check out the concept 'opportunity cost'. This vid does have good production values, well done.

I've been working with the homeless for 18 years. It is often mental illness, substance abuse, a combination of the two, but it can happen to "normal" people. Quite frankly, the rugged individualism has been stripped out of people by our culture, and IQ's have dropped 15 points since fed controlled ed took effect. . Their are places for normal people to go however. The mission I work at is mostly drunks and heroin addicts, but the salvation army has lodging for entire familys.
Not ALL the homeless are old people, or people with mental problems either. They come all races, shapes, sizes, backgrounds and circumstances. What we need to do, is stop being so judgemental and take the time to try to understand there are differences between them and sometimes help those when they need it - when it's called for. I've seen others do it. It's OK to have a heart - someimes people are really hurting (not fooling around) and we should make that destinction.

I enjoyed it, it's kind of a touching subject, a good subject. It doesn't seem farfetched to me as I realized, really - anyone can become homeless. There may actually be thousands of homeless teens in this country and some of them are runaways (from a very bad home situation). And others actually have no choice - as they have come from a very bad situation, such as natural disaster.

It -isn't- always that easy. Help is not always so easy to come by, depending on where you are and depending on your own personal circumstances. I live at home back in Alaska, I was homeless for 1yr. the first time and then out the door Dec. 2005 til July 2008, my street name was/is 'Alaska Dave', although fictional this touches on the memories I have and it hit home...(not the right word), there is a homeless feed somewhere everyday in Snohomish County. Next time put more hope in your video, but otherwise IT WAS GOOD

they will at least try, some casses are imposseble do to dets, they can only get rid of it by a judge.

over 80% of the homeless have mental problems. Most of the rest spend their cash on drugs. This video portrays like .01% of homeless out there. The normal type that this is trying to portray stay with family and friends, temporarily, before finding a job.P.S. it takes months to evict a renter and years to foreclose on a owner. not realistic, this videa is an urban myth, a false stereo type. Add some crack, smiles, and friends and it might be realistic.
