i agree I think this kid is flying under the radar and will be the best big man duncan has had since robinson. Overseas they play such a team orinted game both on offesne and defense. He is already an above average scorer in the post and is a good defender in the post 1 on 1. Plus he is quick enough to hold his own against guys like Lamor odom,channing Fyre. Guys who gave us porblems all season.

@djaz4 LOL at your idiot logic. So I guess Robert Horry is better than MJ right? Tim has dominated the league far more than Kobe has. Kobe has had way too good of a team with his rings. He got carried to Shaq for the first three rings. You want to talk about bad performances, look at Kobe's performance in the 04 finals. He was being a ballhog and he shot a horrilbe fg% causing his team to get embarrassed by the Pistons, who the Spurs beat 1 year later. Lakers got lucky to be there.

@djaz4 Besides, let's use different achievements. Kobe has one MVP, Tim Duncan has two. Kobe has 2 Finals MVP, Duncan has 3. Duncan had a higher PER every year the two have been in the league, Duncan has put up better numbers consistently and has been far more efficient. Duncan also never demanded to get traded only to get bailed out by BS trades. Kobe went to LA, they were already a powerhouse, but Duncan went to SA and made it to what it is today. Kobe doesn't match up to Duncan.

@djaz4 Also, the only category Kobe beats Duncan is luck. Last year, Yao and Mutumbo don't get injured, Rockets would've beaten the Lakers in the 2nd round. And if Perkins didn't get injured in game 7, and if the refs weren't horrible in the 4th quarter, Boston would've won. Kobe is amongst the most overrated and lucky players in sports. Don't forget that one of those Lakers victories came from the refs cheating the Kings out a trip to the Finals.

@djaz4 SA was the team of the decade. Every year they were considered contenders for the championship. They should've won more. Should not have lost in 04 when Fisher got the luckiest shot of his life, and 06, everyone knew the Mavs beating the Spurs was a complete fluke. Plus an injury to Stephen Jackson kept SA from beating the Lakers in 01 I think it was. I do respect Kobe, he's a very very good player. But he benefits more from luck than any other player, and he is very overrated.

@jifyum07 Rings don't always tell the entire story. People seem to forget so soon how dominate Shaq was when he was on the Lakers. Take him out of the picture, no way Lakers would've won one of those championships. Shaq may be the player of the decade. It's between him and duncan no doubt. Their ability to dominate not only in the regular season but in the post-season say a lot.

should have came 2 the spurs instead of staying,i know he is makin money over there, but in the long run it would of paid off to come to the NBA already.for1,he could learn from the best PF ever to play the game, and 2 he can learn from the best fundamental player ever,from the way it looks splitter has some athletic abililty but not great and he would benefit from learning from duncan who was never to much of a high flyer himself!!! of and lets not forget 3rd...A CHANCE TO WIN A NBA TITTLE!!!
