I don't know everything about the bible but does 1st Corinthians 14:34 say that women should remain silent in church? If it does why is she preaching in church.

I did some research about all the women you said preached and if you look again they did not preach at all. Wasn't Paul inspired by God to write Corinthians. This powerhouse just finished a revival at my church and we are so on fire, it's amazing the building is still standing. There are no words to describe the move of God we experienced. His glory was so thick you could actually see His glory cloud. I've never seen a preacher preach him/herself drunk before, but I saw it on her last day with us. She preached herself sloppy drunk and like Peter, whomever she walked past, whether she touched them or not, they hit the floor. AWESOME!

@draybrow77 It is not what I am saying, it is what you think I am implying. I believe that God can use anybody, try reading Galatians 3:28. I don`t agree that a woman should be a pastor, because that goes against the bible but not preach. What difference does it make if lives are being saved? NOWHERE in the bible it prohibits a woman to preach,it says they should not hold a standard as a man but authority means trying to take over, that is not what all woman are doing when they preaching.

@bowiehs First off how do u know life's are being saved? God can use anybody but NOT IN A WAY THAT GOES AGAINST HIS OWN WORDS. God has never spoke through a women preacher and he will never or the bible is a lie which would make God a lie. Now I agree that they can minister to other women because I have not found scripture that says that they can't but the bible says to hold position in the Church you must be the husband of one wife.So if ur single, have many wives, or a women you not quality

@draybrow77 God has NEVER spoke through a woman preacher?That is a bold statement, you do not know that. That is not going against the bible, it never said that a woman should not preach. It says hold authority over a man, and preaching is not. As far as the positions, I agree with that. If a woman intention is trying to overpower a man than you are right, but other than that you are wrong. You cannot just pick out one scripture without looking at the context and history of it.

@draybrow77 Hello. I was just reading through the comments and I noticed your comments and your reference to 1Corinthians 14:34.That scripture does not relate to women preaching at all. What that scripture refers to is married women remaining subordinate to their husbands in the church service. As we know, in those days it was considered improper/disrespectful for a married woman to speak to a man who she wasnt married to in the presence of her husband. So this scripture is basically just

There were SEVERAL women who preached in the bible, the bible refers to them as "prophetess". There was Anna in Luke 2:36-38; Deborah(Judges 4); Huldah(2Kings 22:14-20; 2Chr34:22-28);(and I could probably go on, but you get it) these were all women of GOD who, by the authority of and at the instruction of God delivered a word to His ppl. (now if that isn't preaching, i don't know what is)

@draybrow77 when u look at that scripture it clearly states that he (meaning the writer) suffers not (or doesn't allow) women to teach; it doesn't imply or state at all that God has commanded such a thing. You're more than welcome to your beliefs, but it would be very unfortunate for u to miss out on deliverance or what God is saying simply bc u can't look past who's delivering the word.

I did some research about all the women you said preached and if you look again they did not preach at all. Wasn't Paul inspired by God to write Corinthians. God is not going to use anybody in a way that goes against his own words. Explain to me how any of these women were preachers in the bible.

Everybody listens to Paul and says he is inspired by God until he says women can't preach or teach, then everybody comes up with excuses. You can blind and follow man but I'm going to follow the bible. Show me one scripture where a women preached, teached, or held authority over a man. So why would I follow it, if it's not in the bible???

I'll read it for you, All scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. So my question to you is this, is the Bible 100% right or 100% wrong. So when paul says he suffers not a women to.... it's the inspiration of God.

@draybrow77 The Bible is, in fact, inspired by God, however, there were times when writers spoke their own opinion, without God instructing them to do such (see 1Cor7:12) From your comments there are at least 2 things that are apparent to me. 1. You don't have a clear understanding of the Word of God and 2. You don't desire to have a clear understanding. The bible tells us in 2Tim4:2 to PREACH the word. PERIOD. The book wasnt written for men, nor for women, but for believers, and as a believer

American Christainity is based more on a Godless culture than the word of God. From pictures of Jesus and angels, and symbols like the cross and the fish. If they want to ask a question they should ask their own husband in there home. I don't know why God made these rules but he did and he is not going to go back on his own word. Did God call all men to preach and not anyone else? When if the men are not willing to preach should the woman sit down because she is not a man? The bible also says that a woman should prophesy but she has to ask her husband, it is all about establishing order in the church.

This powerhouse just finished a revival at my church and we are so on fire, it's amazing the building is still standing. There are no words to describe the move of God we experienced. His glory was so thick you could actually see His glory cloud. I've never seen a preacher preach him/herself drunk before, but I saw it on her last day with us. She preached herself sloppy drunk and like Peter, whomever she walked past, whether she touched them or not, they hit the floor. AWESOME!

The Bible teaches us....There will be many false prophets that will come in thy name....Divorce was not part of Gods plan..Let no man break apart what God has put together Matt 19 6 so many believers are mislead because they do not read the bible.The bible says, study to show they self approved..I would suggest that you read 1 Tim. 1 Tim shows the order of the church..I think this will shed some light on prophets/elders/bishops/preachers you will see what the requirements are and who qualifies.
