the missing player involvement is still a giant inconsistency (its impossible to actually let someone play because noone can play identically for several runs, i know but hear me out) because thats what games are ABOUT! the ai is supposed to react to player movement and actions and the player movement itself causes a lot of physical calculation especially in crysis.
of course this method is perfect when benching gpus though.
How is this any better? There's multiple time demos to choose frome. All of them are actualy game play; not fly throughs like the first Crysis bencmark.
