  • @romka4567 HD simply means High Definition. Basically the image is sharper and clearer to your eye. LCD and Plasma are two different types of TV displays.

    A Plasma TV creates an image by heating up gas. Since gas can move very fast, plasmas usually are applauded for they're fast response time.

    An LCD TV is basically a TV lit by either Light Tubes or Light Emitting Diodes. The newer TV's are all starting to use the LED approach, which offers great picture while using barely any energy.
