that was a good kiss especially for an american soap. I am so used to enjoying VL and AWZ which have amazing passionate kisses and they definitely don't hold back. I hate to say it but I had a feeling this one would be held back and not seem genuine. that definitely seemed genuine. I never watch american soaps even though I am from the US because I have heard how bland the kisses are and also the storylines never caught my attention. good for GH for showing a real kiss.

I think its unfair to compare ATWT and OLTL to this show, that would be like comparing steak to deli meat...they are just not on the same level. GH actually has actors who CAN act and are not afraid to get into their role and deliver......Nuke and Kish have a long way to go.....

You are so right! That first kiss (actually the second version of the first kiss) was so much hotter and more passionate than anything they have done since! I really do think that the producers told them to tone it down. I also think that Van Hansis often does not seem to know how to kiss well. He keeps pulling away, grinning, and/or driving his chin into Jake's face, whereas Jake Silbermann seems much more relaxed and willing to put himself fully into the kiss.

True,but ATWT had that one scene with Nuke after they came back from a swim and they were playing around with a towel and Luke pulled Noah just inches from his face and that was hot,both had just their trucks on.Then look what happened,no affection or kisses for 7 months.I'm happy that GH:night shift has these two actors and that kiss was beauitful and their relationship nice.Just a few shows,and they are fanastic.Imagine what could happen if they are on as long as Nuke has been.

Now even this storyline is showing more provocotive scenes than Luke and Noah. Nice kiss!! The writers of Nuke storyline must be going insane after watching other gay storylines here and abroad and hearing the positive feedback from the public watching those other shows. The writers have bosses who tell them how far they should go, so it's really unfair to blame them for the poor Nuke storyline. They gotta eat too.

Night Shift is different than GH or ATWT, though, bc its in the evening and not on a major network. Those things allow the show to get away with more. It had the closest display of a shower sex scene that I've ever seen on a "soap."
