Cool spider dude, I got a couple of large jumpers, yet to capture them on film though.. I have grown them from 5mm - 1.8-2cm, I'll get a vid up when they get to 3.

they'll eat a lot of different insects. even other spiders. a wasp is more dangerous to the jumping spider though since it can easily kill it with likely 1 sting

@y890x Jumping spiders are cool, I actually hold them with no problems. I used to hate spiders, but now I like them. You just got to have a better understanding of them. I have several vids myself of handling spiders. The jumpers are my favorite.

Nice vid! I love jumping spiders, they are so curious and (anthropormhic cavet) "friendly" whenever I encounter them. They have no problem jumping on my hand and checking things out.

They will rarely bite. If you try to pick them up instead of guiding them into your hand, you stand a greater chance of being bitten. Once they're crawling around on you, they aren't going to bite.

Their venom is harmless to humans. He wouldn't bite if you just dump him in your hand or let him crawl on you. Only when you try to pick them up with your fingers they bite.

It's not cruel killing flies because they are "Pests" and they are "destroying" the Earth by spreading their population. Spiders are important in our world because they stop this and are saving the world from pests such as mostiqutoes,roaches,flies,and possibly aphids. I don't think Snails are pests even though they destroy plants. I like Snails and they are very interesting pets.
