i think the difference is big enough in this race cause the gtr also is accelerating earlier than the porsche.the koenigsegg will loose against the porsche too, i think it would be eaven hard for the standard veyron to win a race against the R911

it's quite impressive that switzers 3 most powerful gtr could keep that close to their porsche topmodel.

If this should have been a fair race the gtr should have been the switzer e900 or if it should have been real interesting it should have been the r1k that would have smoked the porsche.

@m5boarddotcom This raises a good point. Although the P800 is a very potent build and benchmark, Switzer has since released the E900, R900, R1K and R1KX (power increasing in that order). The E900 has run a 9.6 1/4 at 146 MPH and on the other end - the 1248 AWHP R1KX has run a 9.01 @ 164 MPH with serious traction issues.

As you do a great deal of racing on your site - perhaps it's time for a Switzer upgrade and new benchmark car?

I would love to see the R1K versus the CCXR or Veyron.

@TurboGSR96 What you say is true - the R1K will beat a Veyron as they have run 9.3's on average. It would still be fun to see...;)The R1KX has run a 9.01 @ 163, but still tecnically has the highest awhp as the Switzer car was dyno'd on a Mustang Dyno vs a dynojet which the 1300awhp AMS car used.

The Dynojet reads much higher.

That said, In the end of the day - the two cars are very close as the 60-130 times are within a hundreth of a second of each other (3.33 vs. 3.34). UGR territory.
