it has launch control but it was obvious the driver doesn't know how to use the launch control because the car wasn't launched. when it's used correctly the car revs and stays at a waving rev at the beginning. This fool just stepped on the accelerator without setting up the launch control.
The M5 is a heavier car than the others, so it probably needed more time to get up to speed. The M5 has a lot more to it than the cars it raced, too; has more to offer the driver.

the only reason why the other cars win against the M5 is because the other cars are way lighter. the m5 is still fast.
