wow randy's guitar playing really is amazing!

you hear the standard randy-era crazy solos from famous solos and you can tell he is an incredible metal player but from songs like this and Dee you can really tell the depth of his playing and talent.

I bought the disc a few weeks ago.......Put it on this version and was instantly tranported to 1980 and my chance meeting with Randy and Rudy at the Cleveland Holiday Inn my senior yr I believe.I sat in my car stunned for at least 15 mins.Proves the song stands on it's own as a great song.OMG!! @TrueRocker100 Simply replaced? It was cold retribution to Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake from Ozzy and his spiteful wife. They tampered with a rock n' roll treasure by trying to erase a historic record as a middle finger to original bandmates. I think it was an incredibly disrespectful gesture, all born of a legal battle over royalties.

This clearly isn't a situation of wanting it both ways.

You can actually HEAR all the hard work that went into sitting, thinking, and creating on Randy's part. Something that's lost with all of the new production. Anyone else feel like it's pointless even trying to hear the guitarist's creativity through all of the amped up production of today? I love Ozzy's new stuff, and will continue to buy his music as I always have; without question, and on the first day of release, but I feel like the new stuff is almost like being hit by a tidal wave of sound.

@PurpleSnowFox It means that it was mixed (Meaning, they took the master tracks that were originally recorded in 1980 and edited them) in 2010. They basically just muted any track that wasn't Ozzy and Randy. I think they cleaned Ozzy's vocals a little, but I'm not sure what else they've done.
