This is a classic mistake of a new rider. He got scared of his speed in relation to the curve. While its always better to ride at the correct speed, you have to understand that the bike can turn a lot better than you think.
Just look to where you want to go, keep your eye on it, and push the bar. It will lean over quite a bit, maybe scrape off quite a bit of chrome, but you will be probably come out of the turn fine. Just for gods sake, don't brake.

Might have been an inexperienced biker. However @ 00:25, the car seemed to open a lot wider -spoiling the bike's 'passing' on a safe curve... so the bike made a wrong decision on the next curve which was a blind one.

He kept his head turned toward the ditch, thus his shoulders were turned, his weight was leaning that way, so he went that way. Might have been an inexperienced biker. However @ 00:25, the car seemed to open a lot wider -spoiling the bike's 'passing' on a safe curve... so the bike made a wrong decision on the next curve which was a blind one.

No need for names As I said he was a new rider they think they can steer a bike it's all in the lean and you CAN'T counter Steer when your in a turn.Only thing he could have done was get off the throttle and lean, he could see far enough ahead of himself so he could use both lanes,also he wasn't going that fast. His other real big mistake is he hit his brakes hard and this added to his problem. Either you've never owned a Big Bagger and u ride dirt

it's the bikers fault; first off it was solid line and going curve. damn moved for the bikers, one rule on the road either you're a biker or a car. pass or overtake "at the right time at the right place".the guy passed at the wrong place at the wrong time. solid line and curve is bad combination to pass. bikers should wait on a straight ways and broken lines. bad moved from them, that's what they get from being impatient.

Looked like a bit of fixation, going too fast, and locking up one of the tires. He looked like he wanted to turn, but he never turned that head. He kept his head turned toward the ditch, thus his shoulders were turned, his weight was leaning that way, so he went that way. Maybe big bad biker boy should've swallowed his pride and taken an MSF course. The drivers should've stopped. They should've even pulled to the side when they noticed all of the bikes behind them. Assholes.

ok so heres my take: dude on bike was going too fast for the turn and he is not comfortable with the bike, obviously, because he didnt lean enough. and the driver of the vehicle may have been going slow, but the rider should have held up because of the fact they were riding in a group. but, the folks in the vehicle SHOULD HAVE STOPPED. if the guy was injured, they could have transported him. period. now the guy lays there waiting for another possible means of transportation and maybe bleeds out.

Id say he was trying to show off or be cool or something, im pretty sure even i could have made that turn, and ive only ridden bikes a few times in my life... and its obvious that the vehicle the people with the camera were riding in was a very LARGE vehicle, and if they were to go any faster on that winding road, they would have rolled the damn thing...so no, they are NOT at fault.

the scene of an accident? are you kidding me? the car was driving the speed limit and staying in it's own lane. On the other hand the motorcycle broke the speed limit and decided to pass on a corner when there was a double yellow line in the middle of the road (no passing) and the car didn't even hit the motorcycle. the dumb ass mortorcycle rider drove his bike off the road. 100% bikers fault. you are the dumbass
