When Trivium came on everything was ok, then Matt Heafy started mouthing off, he did it through the entire tour and they got bottled through the entire tour for it. Trivium at the time had only been 'well known' for about a year, he should have kept his mouth shut and opened for Maiden, instead he had no respect and acted like Trivium were headlining.

I like Bullet for My Valentine, Caliban, Silverstein, Alkaline Trio, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, All That Remains, and fucking Paramore. To me all of these bands are 'real'. Like their sound. What I'm saying in essence is that Led Zeppelin borrowed alot of riffs, sometimes even entire song lyrics, often without credit. This is the same thing most artists do - you'll rarely see a credit unless it's a full-out cover with no change in arrangement.
This dude is just a hater, he doesn't like Trivium because they make excellent music that I would call 'thrash power metal', something that is not well done my many.

@metalmusician68 the tour was part of Maidens world tour in 2006, Trivium got invited to open for them because of the Ozzfest thing with Sharon. When Trivium came on everything was ok, then Matt Heafy started mouthing off, he did it through the entire tour and they got bottled through the entire tour for it. Trivium at the time had only been 'well known' for about a year, he should have kept his mouth shut and opened for Maiden, instead he had no respect and acted like Trivium were headlining.

I am quite surprised that Maiden did not kick them out of the tour... in 'Earls Court, London' Matt Heafy nearly caused rioting.. He stopped the show to get someone thrown out stating "You throw stuff @ Metallica, you get thrown out"... well your not Metallica... or even headlining.
