Hi Bird! To Busk down at the Pike Place Market, you must first get a permit. There are a few easy questions, and no audition. There are pages of rules about claiming a spot and Busking in it. It all boils down to standing in a designated spot marked by a big red note painted on the sidewalk. First you have to find an empty one, or get in line and stay in line. You get a one hour set, and must move on. I'll add a link in my info window for you. There are also rules like "no amplification".
