  • I thought pual bunyan was Canadian

  • A match for chuck Norris!

  • Little known fact: Paul Bunyan's two grandsons are John Wayne and Chuck Norris.

  • Oh, I'm a lumberjack and I'm O.K.! :D

  • I just found this at Bull Moose yesterday for thirty cents. The fun in making fun of it was so worth it. "I'm sure absolutely nobody else in Wisconsin needs my help."

  • This is hilarious!

  • Mel-O-Toons???

  • THANK GOD FOR YOUTUBE!!!!!

  • miss this one. thnx

  • 25 ft tall and only 800 lbs? lol

  • @jb68025 LMAO! haha

  • hey paul hey paul pual bunyan

  • OMG!!!! I HAVE THIS VIDEO STILL!!!! I LOVE YOU FOR POSTING THIS UP!!!

  • lmao

  • What is the song title at 2:18 ?

  • Candy mountain!

  • @TheSegafrogz Lol What A Rip Off!

  • @narred98 what do u mean?

  • @TheSegafrogz In The Big Rock Candy Mountains?....Search Up The Song.

  • @narred98 ok i see what u mean now.

  • Oh childhood. Such a classic.

  • I used to watch this when I was a little kid.

  • On top of spaghetti all covered with cheese!

I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed!

    Same song different lyrics!

  • i love the music in tis story

  • it's odd that animation started out so amazing through the late 30's and 40's then reduced to cheap imitations later

  • mighty paul bunyan, he lived long ago...well actually no he didn't...he was a product of fiction written in the 1930's.

  • Was this RCA's own TV show to sell their records? Or was it 16mm home movies from them? If the latter, why aren't they recorded in Living Stereo!? LOL

  • this is rather horrid, the music is just rip offs of American folk songs, and the art is offal. This is really just RCA's response to Disney's Paul Bunyan. The redeeming part of this cartoon for me is the fact Paul built the big rock candy mountains, he mush have been a big hobo! (If you don't get this look up song Rock Candy Mountain)

  • lol this one sucks where the fuck is Babe?

  • disney's is more upbeat

  • Where's Babe the Blue Ox? Usually when there's a retelling of the famous Paul Bunyan legend, Babe the Blue ox is always involved.

  • i LOVE you for posting this

  • Theres nothing mroe American it seems than to destroy the environment that struggles to sustain us.

  • That's what I love. The only way ol' Bunyan could have been more American would be to create a McDonald's mountain with Crisco streams instead of an old rock candy mountain.

  • Wow, if you don't like the "American" image, do us a favor and MOVE!

  • I happen to enjoy my American pride with a grain of salt and an ounce of humility thank you. Get a grip.

  • You are a hypocrite! The house you live in is build out of LUMBER! LOL The entire world uses natural resources to sustain human life! If your against cutting down trees for human shelter or any other form of consumption, just kill yourself and then there we be one less person to use our resources. Or move to a deserted island, but dont make a fire to stay warm or you will be burning WOOD! ROFL People like you crack me up with your Hypocritical BS

  • "Paul Bunyan", part of the Mel-O-Toons cartoons is also 1 of the best episodes ever. This gentle giant is well-known 4 his strength and his goodness to help America GROW. He is the giant lumberjack with the biggest heart. I love watchin' this show since I was a kid. If any1 would share more Mel-O-Toons cartoons, it'll be 100X the fun! THNX A LOT!!!

  • What's the title of song that old man signs (2:18)

"I'm goin down the road feelin bad ... my family is hungry and I have no place to live..."

    I'm waiting for suggestions

  • Thanks for posting!

  • That was rediculous!

  • I hope someone will post the Mel-O-Toons cartoon that was of a little boy who sang towards a mountain just to hear his echo. The ech stopped, and he went searching for it, and asks a fish in a pond if it has seen his echo--among other animals--and the fish laughs, answering "eh- heh,eh-heh, eh-heh eh-heh...that's to hard of a question for me,Sparky.." all the while gurggling like under water. That was one of the funniest cartoons of my childhood, and I want to see it again. Anyone remember it?

  • In the 1950s the natural environment was only waiting to be cleared in deference to human development. But then, there weren't so many people. And now we don't have so much natural environment.

  • LOL. xD

  • "When he was only 18, he was already 25 feet tall, and weighed 800 pounds....all muscle"

The Los Angeles Lakers are not confirming reports that he is under contract already.

  • Seems to me, a guy 25 feet tall should weigh a lot more than 800 lbs

  • Yeah, he'd be built like Manute Bol - or a toothpick! LOL
